The apartment is compact but still enough room for a family of 4 and all our gear (just!). Would benefit from 1-2 less armchairs so there's more space, and would've been a nice touch to have dressing gowns and slippers provided for the pool/jacuzzi, but these are very minor things. Would happily book again.
We had a great week staying in this apartment in Le Refuge du Montagnard in Les Arc 1950. It's a self-contained studio apartment with a large double bed and a pair of bunk beds, along there's room for a cot too. The entire, purpose build village is ski-in, ski out with the piste (a blue run), effectively running both around and through the middle of the town enabling you to ski up to the front door, as well as to and from the boot room at the back of the building. Our host Kristell, was very responsive to our questions and did everything possible to ensure that our stay went smoothly. In addition to the hot tub and a sauna in the building free access to the indoor and outdoor pools in the block opposite are included.
Our one word of caution is that we arrived late due to transport delays and found that there was literally nowhere to buy food in Les Arc after 8pm (last orders in every restaurant) on a Sunday evening, so if there's any risk of you arriving late ensure to bring some food for you and any little ones.
We made good use of the creche and nursery Garderie 2000 in Arc 2000 a short hop up the mountain in the Cabriolet Gondola, but be aware that it is very popular and so you should book before you arrive to guarantee availability.
