Perfect for snorkels/scuba divers

This lovely two bedroom home is literally 300 steps from Petite Malendure which is a snorkeled dream spot. Just .33 miles to many dive shops ready to take out divers around Cousteau Reserve. We paid for both but quickly realized it is not necessary. We spent hours upon hours explore the reef off the beach and finding something each time. Turtles are abundant with eels, squid, rays, etc. About the home: Parking is provided above the home which is located on the side of a mountain. Getting to the car or beach requires walking up/down a steep slope. Upon entry there is a kitchen and dining table with a living space to the left. This is an open space with no windows (so bugs will be sharing the space with you). When slats are open, a bird or two may pop in. The cool mountain breeze helps it stay cool along with the fans. One master bedroom with ensuite on 1st floor with A/C. Large spaces with ample closet space. To get upstairs, there are steep, narrow steps to a full bedroom (also has A/C) and second bathroom. There is ample space for a family of 4. Internet was available for email and communication. The communication with the owner and the manager was easy and they assisted us with our stay, despite the language barrier. We were thankful for their kindness and understanding. Stay here if-you: *like nature, especially nice views *plan to be underwater while visiting *want a clean apt Do not stay if *you do not understand bugs live in Guadaloupe *cannot climb stairs or steep slopes

a little slice of heaven two minute walk from the beach!

lovely apartment, attached but very private. Spacious and perfect for two, I'd say up to four (two bedrooms). Clean and the grounds are breathtaking. No view of the water BUT the flora is so lush you won't miss it! Beach is a short walk through the woods, which is a plus at Malendure since the parking can be crazy. The snorkeling cant be beat, its a lovely spot with walking to beach, sand, snorkeling and restaurants. The only problem I had was with mosquitos after a day of heavy rain, they LOVE me *I hate them* but closing the doors to the bedroom at night did the trick. My husband did not have this problem he's not a bug magnet like I am. This was only one or two days our of almost three weeks so I think I'm the exception. Basse Terre is lovely and this is a great "base" for hiking, snorkeling, sightseeing and more. Lovely would recommend to anyone!

Non recommandé House in private residence, with pool in Malendure - Bouillante

Nous sommes arrivĂ©s vendredi le 13 septembre 2024 vers les 15:00 AprĂšs avoir trouvĂ© l’emplacement avec difficultĂ©s nous avons constatĂ© qu’il fallait avoir une bonne forme physique car du stationnement a l’hĂ©bergement il y a une bonne pente nĂ©gative. Rendu a l’hĂ©bergement nous avons constatĂ© que la climatisation de la chambre au 2ieme Ă©tage ne fonctionnait pas. Nous avons contactĂ© l’hĂŽte pour trouver une solution mais elle nous dit qu’En Guadeloupe le service est tres lent et que le technicien passera seulement lundi, donc il Ă©tait insensĂ© pour nous de demeurer a cette emplacement pour 3 jours a 40 degrĂ©s Celsius. Concernant le WIFI il ne fonctionnait pas et de surplus l'hĂŽte n’avait pas le mot de passe. Nous avons visitĂ© la piscine et constatĂ© qu’il y avait des travaux donc pas accessible ensuite nous nous sommes dirigĂ©s vers la plage mais la descente est trĂšs abrupte et Ă©tait endommagĂ©e par les pluies, L’hĂŽte aurait dĂ» mentionner que son site n’est pas pour les personnes Ă  mobilitĂ© rĂ©duite. Suite Ă  tout ces problĂšmes nous avons voulu annuler mais elle a refusĂ© et n’a pas voulu aussi nous rembourser le dĂ©pĂŽt de 44eur, Donc en conclusion on s’est fait arnaquer. Je recommande de ne pas rĂ©server cette hĂ©bergement G.Ross

logement trÚs bien situé par rapport à la réserve cousteau , aux clubs de plongée ( pour les plongeurs) et ça c'est top, aux randonnées. Il manque un point d'eau extérieur pour se rincer.

Le logement est spacieux et est trÚs bien équipé comme à la maison. Le seul petit bémol est que les salles d'eau ont besoin d'un petit rafraichissement. Son emplacement géographique est parfait, proche de la route de la traversée et du bon coté pour découvrir des plages magnifiques et de nombreuses visites, randonnées ou autres activités. A peine à 5mns à pieds de la maison il y a une petite plage accessible et peut fréquentées ce qui est un grand plus pour le logement.

Jolie maison à proximité de la magnifique réserve de Cousteau

Accueil chaleureux d’Emilie qui s’est occupĂ©e de notre arrivĂ©e tardive au logement. Maison trĂšs bien situĂ©e Ă  proximitĂ© de la plage de Malendure et de la rĂ©serve Cousteau (un petit chemin dans les bois vous permets d’y accĂ©der en 5min). Le logement dispose de tout le nĂ©cessaire ainsi qu’une terrasse extĂ©rieur avec table et transats. TrĂšs bien situĂ©e afin de profiter pleinement de Basse Terre et de toutes ses activitĂ©s !

Location trÚs décevante

Nous avons passĂ© un sĂ©jour agrĂ©able car proche de la plage mais trĂšs déçus du logement impropre Ă  la location. MĂ©nage pas fait, mobilier trĂšs passable, aucun endroit pour ĂȘtre dehors Ă  l'abri du soleil et de la pluie. IntĂ©rieur des meubles sales. Aucun produit d'entretien, sĂ©curitĂ© extĂ©rieure trĂšs limite. Bref, nous ne conseillons pas cette location . Nous n'avons jamais eu de ProblĂšme avec Abritel et nous pensons qu'il devrait y avoir en contrĂŽle sur cette location. Merci d'un songer pour les prochains clients.

Maison situĂ©e Ă  5mn Ă  pieds de la plage de Malendure en empruntant un chemin qui traverse un petit bois au bas de la rĂ©sidence . C'est le plus de la location. Maison bien adaptĂ©e pour 2 couples , 2 chambres avec une sdb chacune. Elle est bien situĂ©e Ă  1/2h, 3/4 d'heure environ de plusieurs lieux intĂ©ressants Ă  visiter. Par contre le parking privĂ© est parfois pris par des vĂ©hicules qui ne sont pas de la rĂ©sidence et le chemin privĂ© est utilisĂ© par beaucoup de gens extĂ©rieur Ă  la rĂ©sidence ce qui fait du passage qui pourrait ĂȘtre Ă©vitĂ©. Nous avons passĂ© un excellent sĂ©jour.

Emplacement idéal

Emplacement idéal de cette maison à 2 minutes à pieds de la plage de Petite Malendure. Quel bonheur de pouvoir aller voir les tortues au réveil ! Accueil impeccable malgré notre arrivée retardée. La maison est simple, conforme à l'annonce et bénéficie de tout l'équipement nécessaire.

Perfekte Lage

Das 2-Sterne-Appartement punktet mit seiner perfekten Lage. Einerseits ist man in nur 4 Minuten zu Fuß am wahrscheinlich besten Schnorchelstrand der Insel (wir haben auf bis jetzt drei Besuchen auf Guadeloupe schon viele verschiedene StrĂ€nde besucht). Kaum hat man einen Schritt ins Meer gesetzt, beginnen die Korallen und es wimmelt vor bunten Fischen. Auch Kraken, Tintenfische, Aale und, wenn man GlĂŒck hat, Langusten sind zu sehen. Das Highlight sind aber die Wasserschildkröten. Andererseits ist man schnell an der KĂŒstenstraße (von der man nur selten etwas hört) und an der Route de la TraversĂ©e, die auf den anderen Inselteil fĂŒhrt. So kann man alle Orte von Guadeloupe in relativ kurzer Zeit erreichen. Dadurch kann man morgens im Regenwald wandern und nachmittags noch mal schnorcheln. Einfach ideal! Im Appartement ist alles Notwendige vorhanden (HandtĂŒcher, Geschirr, Besteck, KĂŒchenutensilien, leise Klimaanlagen in den Schlafzimmern, usw.). Schade ist nur, dass sich die Klappen der scheibenlosen Fenster im Wohnzimmer nicht vollstĂ€ndig schließen lassen oder Moskitonetze haben (was sich wegen des Schließmechanismus der Fensterklappen auch nur durch abnehmbare Moskitofensterrahmen bewerkstelligen ließe). Deshalb muss man selbst im Wohnzimmer MĂŒckenschutz auftragen. Auch ein abknickbarer Sonnenschirm wĂ€re wĂŒnschenswert, ansonsten kann man die Morgensonne (die schon ordentlich brennt) auf der Terrasse nicht abschirmen. WĂ€hrend unseres Aufenthalts ist die Waschmaschine kaputt gegangen. Natalie und Emilie haben sich sofort um eine neue gekĂŒmmert, so dass wir in kĂŒrzester Zeit wieder waschen konnten. Vielen Dank nochmal! Fazit: Wir haben den Aufenthalt im Appartment sehr genossen!

Bilan de notre séjour

Nous avons passé un bon séjour, la localisation est exceptionnelle, à cÎté de la plage de petite Malendure (poissons, tortues...) Un rafraßchissement de la location serait cependant appréciable ainsi que la mise en place de moustiquaires dans les chambres et un point d'eau à l'extérieur pour se rincer au retour de la plage.

Logement qui mérite un coup de rafraichissement

L'emplacement du logement est idĂ©al! AccĂšs Ă  la plage Ă  5 min Ă  pied, ce qui permet de ne pas prendre la voiture (et de ne pas payer le parking!) La plage est super! De trĂšs beaux rĂ©cifs coralliens, on peut voir pleins de tortues. Parking facile, trĂšs peu de marche pour accĂ©der Ă  la rĂ©sidence. Cependant nous avons eu des soucis avec l'accĂšs internet quasi inexistant (elle l'a modifiĂ© dans l'annonce) et le logement mĂ©rite clairement un grand coup de rafraĂźchissement (vis sur la terrasse qui ressort, peinture, chasse d'eau, douche qui fuit, trace d'humiditĂ©, etc) La communication a toujours Ă©tĂ© bonne avec la propriĂ©taire et nous avons pu trouver un compromis. Elle nous avait prĂ©venue qu'elle n'avait pas pu venir depuis 2 ans (pour des raisons de covid) et nous espĂ©rons qu'elle pourra y remĂ©diĂ© car cette maison possĂšde beaucoup d'atouts. La personne qui nous a accueillie sur place est trĂšs sympa et trĂšs disponible. Au niveau Ă©quipement, nous n'avons manquĂ© de rien! Il y a mĂȘme sur place parapluie et palme/masque/tuba. Bref je vous conseil ce logement une fois rafraĂźchit ;)
