A no fuss option for staying in the local area, it was clean and the staff were friendly. Bed was nice and firm. Parking is £2 and there are plenty of spaces available in the adjacent car park. My only complaint was the noise from traffic when you have the windows option, unfortunately there is no air conditioning so if it's hot you will have to put up with it.

Lovely hotel, excellent location, wonderful staff.

When I go to Borehamwood I always stay in the IBIS. It's a lovely hotel, in a very central location, walkable to all amenities and attractions. Rooms are a great size and they are clean. Staff are very accomodating and go out of their way to help. I personally prefer rooms at the back of the hotel as it's quieter, although I don't think the main road in front of the hotel is particularly busy at night so I'm not sure that noise would be an issue. I've stayed in the IBIS Borhamwood 4-5 times now, and will continue to stay there whenever I visit Borehamwood.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable and staff very welcoming. My sister and I were staying after attending a Strictly Come Dancing recording. There was a board on the reception desk to welcome Strictly guests and we were even allowed an early check in to allow us to change prior to the show.

ibis is very VERY bad

Worst bed I've ever slept in... Like ever. My neck hurts right now, it was that bad. Next hotel was supposed to be ibis?? Not anymore - cancelled it. Never again. No sockets next to the bed, and one of the two next to the window didn't even work. Kettle didn't look clean so I didn't even chance it. Toilet tissue was in an awkward place to reach when sat down. Room had a smell that went away after two days. (2 previous ibis hotels I've stayed also had a weird smell... it must just be an ibis thing.)
