Location, location and one more time location. Its in the heart of an old town,Everything is around the corner Its very basic hotel with tiny rooms but its clean and absolutely sufficient for few days.. Staff is friendly and helpfull.Breakfast is decent. Its absolutely worth its money. But if you look for something more luxury its not the place .

Very cute hotel, staff was friendly and helpful. Great location. There was no air conditioning but you could crack a window open. I didn’t mind but my husband was a bit overheated.

My room was not ready till 2 hours after the check-in time. Very small room. The bathroom was too small to even stand in to dry myself after a shower. I heard every step taken in the surrounding rooms. I would not stay there again

The only good thing about this hotel was its location. We were not given a room in the main hotel but shunted to an annex down the street. The room on floor one was more like a closet, the shower had a significant amount of mold just above the tile and the water pressure was inadequate. The photos do not represent what you will see once on the property. Don’t recommend you stay on this hotel.

Very old and moldy

Very, very old. Shower was nasty with mold, also the room had many tiny flies. No soap first day, until we asked for some. Television control had no batteries, and reception didn’t have any batteries.

This property has multiple buildings and we ended up in the one across the alley. There wasn't an elevator, but we were on the second floor in a great room so it wasn't too much of a hassle to carry our luggage up to the room. Our room had air conditioning which was a blessing as we had to check out of our first hotel because it didn't and it was ungodly hot while we were in Bordeaux. We truly loved the historic feel of the building and the location was wonderful. Would definitely recommend (but make sure the room has air conditioning).

Loved the staff. Unfortunately when I was there it was International Music Day and a music venue outside my window played extremely loud music from three boom boxes. Very interesting music with no singing. No sleep that night as the music continued past 2 in the morning. My train left a6 am. Not a good night.

Very well located hotel, next to Grands Hommes and Gambetta and a short stroll to Pet-Berland. It's god a nice "period” feeling to it, like you are really staying in an old castle tower. Continental breakfast, although a bit pricey at 14 euros, is quite adequate. Unfortunately it is not just the building that is old but also the room: it looked small and tired, drain in the shower was very slow, safe deposit box was not working, wardrobe space was minimal, and we had 3 towels of any kind for 2 people. In fairness, we did not bring this up with the reception - except for the safe box, and that they could not help us with. Overall, I'd say it is more 2-star than 3-star, and if you don't plan on spending much time in the hotel, then it's a decent place for the price. But if it is modern and functional that you are after, look elsewhere.

The staff were incredibly friendly. The room was perfect for our stay. We stayed for 5 nights and had no issues whatsoever. The location is incredible, not too far to walk to the tram stops and all the shops. Also lots of places to eat around the hotel.
