Welcome to Majestic Mountain Haus!
Fun Facts about this house: The Majestic Mountain Haus was built in 1971 using wood and beams from one of the oldest churches in Rowan County, North Carolina, that was dismantled in the early 1970s. The bar in the den was the original ticket counter in the train station of the steam-powered Best Friend of Charleston train. It was the first locomotive train built in the United States and had its inaugural run in 1830!

This lodge has modern comforts and amenities, as well as original/pre-original elements and decor. Together, they offer a unique yet charming mountain vacation experience. Suitable for groups of up to 19 people, this house sits on a high-elevation, wooded property with year-round mountain views and an outdoor, wood-burning fire pit. It is exactly one mile to the slopes of Beech Mountain Ski Resort, the ice skating rink, and the sledding hill. There are countless walking and hiking trails, marked and unmarked, and numerous rivers, creeks, lakes, and streams. Buckeye Lake Recreation Center offers indoor and outdoor activities for all who wish to partake (--> Buckeye Recreation Center <--).
