Location! Location! Location! Winter is here and it's time to head for the hills! This creek side home is central to Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk areas. Centrally located between area ski resorts. A fabulous main level Master Suite with floor to ceiling windows has a King Bed, jetted tub and walk-in, tiled shower. French doors from the Master opens to the deck where you can enjoy morning coffee listening to the rush of the creek. There are two Secondary Bedrooms on the main level. One with a Queen Bed and Private Full Bath and another with Two Twin Beds. There is a Full Bath with walk-in shower located in the hallway. A Private Loft Bedroom upstairs has a Queen Bed and a Half Bath.
A recently renovated Kitchen is full stocked with pots and pans, baking dishes, blender, crock pot, hand mixer, electric skillet, waffle maker and of course plates, bowls and drinking glasses. Family Room has a beautiful wood burning, natural stone fireplace, Vaulted ceilings with Beams and lots of windows to let in natural light and the view.

A spacious wraparound Deck offers a great place to entertain and listen to the sounds of the creek. The Deck has outdoor seating for dining, and a Weber gas grill. Sit by the creek, dip your toes and read a book or take a nap .

Home offers wireless internet, cable TV, Laundry Room with full size washer and dryer. A small office Loft above the Master Suite has two monitors with universal docking station and printer.

We have ample parking in two parking areas on the property. Driveway with covered carport can hold 3 cars and a parking pad along the side street can fit 1 car. There are steps up to the main living area from the ground level.

We are very centrally located. Our community has paved roads that are maintained in the winter if needed.

Beautiful home!

Great Stay

We had a great stay!! House and grounds were very nice in Hounds Ears. Plenty of room and extremely well stocked. Everything was very nice and the owners were very responsive. Only issue was water heaters had a little trouble keeping up with demand as it was very cold out. Would be a great place to stay any time of year

Great house in a great location

Our family of 4 adults and 4 kids (6-17) enjoyed our stay over Christmas. The host asked if we wanted it decorated and we thankfully accepted. It was beautiful. The house is in a very nice gated neighborhood close to multiple ski resorts, shopping, and lots of other attractions. The views from the windows and deck were beautiful. The neighborhood was quiet offering privacy. We cooked almost every meal in the well equipped kitchen using the table that comfortably seats eight. There are 5 well stocked grocery stores nearby. Businesses have recovered well from Hurricane Helene. It was snowing when we arrived and we were pleased to find the roads well maintained in the neighborhood. Even though the driveway is steep, it has an attached carport big enough to hold our large van to load and unload under a covered area. My wife was glad I was driving when it came to backing up the driveway. We used the master BR walk in closet for a single air mattress for a kid with special needs (on oxygen). We would stay here again!

Wonderful Family Vacation

The house is very nice, super clean with a fully stocked kitchen. We had our annual family Thanksgiving with a range of ages from 14 to late 70's and everyone had a wonderful time. The house is big enough to enjoy privacy as well as cozy enough to enjoy family time. The roads are a little steep but nothing different than anywhere else in Boone. The hosts are also very responsive to any question. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great Memorial weekend getaway

Great mountain house with a stream right out back that the kids loved. As well as Fishing pond at the golf course. Well stocked with towels, linens, kitchen utensils and cookware. Owners gave great recommendations for hikes, activities and restaurants that we took advantage of as well!

Winter Escape

We had a great time. Location was great as it was close to Hawksnest Tubing, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock and Boone. Even though it was winter, the creek offered a lot of fun for out grandchildren to explore along with other local parks.

Family time in the mountains

Our family enjoyed our time in this home. It was a great setup for our short weekend trip. Next time we will need to stay longer as there are lots of things to do locally. Weekend stay with toddlers

We enjoyed our stay with 2 toddlers who loved the creek out back very much. We also had fun having a low country boil for dinner one night out on the deck with fall leaves surrounding us- so perfect for an autumn weekend in the mountains! The house was in great proximity to the valle crucis park and original mast general store as well as tweetsie railroad. We would definitely stay here again!

Awesome Labor Day weekend!

Perfect long weekend in the High Country, Hound Ears, and Creekside Getaway. Continuous sounds of the babbling brook very calming, peaceful on our much-needed work break. Kitchen well stocked with cooking, eating needs; better than we have experienced in other rentals.
