Welcome to Lakes View at Hound Ears! This upper-level three-plus bedroom condo features plenty of space, light, and wonderful views. The living area is highlighted by a beautiful stone wood-burning fireplace available to renters and large windows that welcome in plenty of natural light. The orientation is to the south so there is lots of sunlight during the winter months. All bathrooms were recently renovated. The kitchen is fully equipped with lots of cabinet and counter space. All three bedrooms are large with King beds. The primary bedroom on the main level has expansive views of the lakes and an ensuite bath with double sink vanity and walk-in shower. The second bedroom on the main level is adjacent to the full hall bathroom with a pocket door that can be closed to make a private suite. The upstairs bedroom also has an ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower. An additional finished room upstairs has a full-size bed and a child bed, making an ideal space for children to play and sleep.
Guests can enjoy the spacious deck overlooking the lakes, golf course, and surrounding mountains with a comfortable dining area and seating for 6, as well as a gas grill.. This is a wonderful space for guests to relax and enjoy the area!
Guests have access to hiking trails that start at the highest point of the property. At that location there is parking for several cars, great views, beautiful huge boulders, and several picnic tables, along with access to the trails. A very short walk from the condo leads to a Watauga river access point with a picnic table - great for wading.
Centrally located with easy, paved, level access from Highway 105 to the area's many attractions. The condo is within the gated community of Hound Ears with 24/7 security on-site. All community roads are paved and maintained in the winter for easy access.

Guests must complete an information form for the Hound Ears neighborhood upon booking, and the reservation will be approved based on the form. Guests are not permitted to use the golf courses. - Motorcycles are strictly prohibited inside the Hound Ears community. - The Condo Association does not allow pets. - Rental guests cannot access any Hound Ears Club amenities or buildings, including golf, pool, tennis, or the restaurant; as per Club rules updated in late 2023. - Check-in is after 4pm and Check-out is by 10am. -This home has a paved driveway with assigned parking capacity for 2 vehicles. There are 6 steps to enter the main level. - For all our mountain homes, we recommend 4WD/AWD or chains in times of snow or ice. - All BRMR homes come with a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. - Towels and linens will be provided for you. - Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent. - Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates. - No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home. - Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook. - No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
