We enjoyed staying at this apartment and working with Wonderful Italy that we have booked another stay for September. Future visitors should be aware that if you arrive on Sunday (when via dell'Indipendenza is closed) your taxi cannot deposit you at Vicolo degli Ariosti. Asides from that inconvenience, the location of the apartment building cannot be beat. It is within easy walking distances to all major sights in "downown" Bologna. There is a well-stocked supermarket across the street. (In winter, a Christmas market in the alley next to the store.) The apartment itself was in a safe neighborhood behind a locked iron gate. Well lit lobby. A good size modern lift that makes staying on the 4th floor a non-issue. Apartment was clean upon check-in. All the appliances were in working order. Quiet...no street noise unless you open the windows. Washing machine worked and it was great that we could do laundry after 4 days in Venice. For a married couple this apartment was an ideal accommodation. We highly recommend it. PS: The WI staff handling our check-in, a freshman physics student at the university, was most friendly and helpful. She is a big reason for this 5-star review.
