The first night we were given the wring room and the room smelled if smoke. After speaking to the front desk they gave us a second room and we were moved ti another room. This room also smelled if cigarette smoke. These rooms are very basic. The breakfast was good and the location was right in the Harbour. We wouldn't stay again however.

Great location

A wonderful location right on the waterfront, with an extensive breakfast served outside on the terrace with a view of the harbor and water. Only a five minute easy walk from the ferries. I would say it's more than a 2-star hotel. But our bathroom on the ground floor smelled a little funky...

This is a very pleasant and extremely well located hotel but lacks a certain charm. The rooms are a little bland and could do with some art perhaps to make them slightly more welcoming. Sadly we booked a room with a balcony which when we checked is was not available due to an issues with the Air Conditioning so we were downgraded and refunded the difference. Alas this room had a smell of cigarette smoke and again a non functioning Aircon unit. The lady at reception was lovely and did her best to help but it was out of her control. Such is life, it was just for one night.

The hotel is extremely well located in Bol - very close to the catamaran dock, the promenade, a grocery store for snacks and water and restaurants. There is no lift, which can be a challenge with luggage. There was air conditioning which was great in the heat. The included breakfast was fantastic - great selection of hot and cold items as well as pastries. Everything was fresh and tasty and it included juice and coffee. You could sit inside or in the outdoor dining area, which had a lovely view of the ocean and the port.

My luggage was lost by the airline, Ivan was beyond helpful getting in contact with the airport and airline. Place was spot on where you want to be in Bol, from the restaurants to the beaches. Above the action but couldn’t hear anything, solid windows. Buffett was delicious.

The hotel couldn’t be in a better location for exploring Bol, easy walk to many restaurants and about 20 minute safe walk on promenade to golden beach. The room itself was tiny (like microscopic) but efficient. Had a shortage of power outlets. Breakfast was nice.

My friend and I stayed at Hotel Kastil for 2 nights. Room was small and basic but comfortable with balcony to enjoy the sea view (through the trees). Centrally locates for exploring Bol. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Very nice breakfast. The guy at reception even arranged a nice packed breakfast as we had a very early ferry on the day we checked out. Would recommend.

Hotel with waterfront view

My stay at the hotel was excellent. The location of the hotel which is right in the middle of where you want to be is perfect. The hotel staff was amazing. They answered every question and provided excellent service. They were always friendly and continually asked us if we needed anything. Well taken care of. The only downfall....the wifi only worked in the reception. The food at the hotel was amazing as well! Highly recommend this hotel.

Basic hotel in great location

The hotel was basic...the bed was ok, the pillows were terrible. Basic but sufficient room and bathroom. No tea/coffee facilities, but a refrigerator. This hotel could do a few basic upgrades to make this hotel very comfortable. Quite disappointing room, with an amazing view and fabulous location.

What a gem!

Hotel Kastil was a great choice walking distance from the beach, all shops and restaurants. Our room looked over a square with a bar below but the music did not bother us. Lovely breakfast, helpful staff. Great restaurants within the hotel. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful Bol

Friendly staff and very helpful. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and I liked the fact that they served until 11. Bol is a beautiful place and our hotel was in a great position near the local restaurants and ea walking distance to Zlatni Rat. Unfortunately our room was in first floor and overlooked the restaurant and the customers could see us and it also was an it noisy until late. Otherwise the stay was comfortable. I'd just make sure next time, I booked a room on a higher floor.
