A perfect place for a weekend away with a small family or couple looking to take in the quiet and majestic Sonoma coast, less than 2 hours from SF.

Incredible Beach Home

Our family had such a lovely time staying for the weekend in this beautiful home. It has a lovely lay-out that is very conducive to together time whether indoors our out. Our kids (2 and 7) loved all of the kids toys in the house (very well equipped) with the play kitchen being the biggest hit. The wagon and beach toys were also great assets. I cant think of when we've stayed in such a well-appointed house that was also very aesthetically pleasing and fun to spend time in as adults. Will definitely look into renting this one again! Thanks

Great house on the golf course

This property was super clean and cozy but the best part for us was how accommodating it was for our toddler. There were toys and games for him to play with and even a stroller for us to use in the garage. The beach was about a 10 min walk which was an added bonus. We would happily recommend staying here.

Safety measure

My biggest complaint is the late 4 check in time. Never have had after 3 before. I feel the house needs hand railings for the stairs. We are an older group and didn’t feel that comfortable going up & down.

Gas range in kitchen would not light and when you forced it it never got hot. Toilet seat downstairs loose. Fire place up stairs would not light so no heat.

Cute house, functional setup

Great clean place, close to the clubhouse and great sea view walks. Very kid friendly, lots of great toys and books. Comfy beds. Thank you very much property manager Luis for helping us resolve a fuel source issue. Cozy house that functionally worked well for our small family. Thanks for our stay.

What a beautiful spot!

This house was perfect for 2 couples! The bedrooms and bathrooms were centrally located. The view looking out of the huge windows and doors was gorgeous. Perfect timing as the weather was beautiful with no wind or fog! I would rent again!

Peaceful Getaway in Lovely Surroundings

This Bodega Harbor home is located in an ideal location for ocean viewing on the deck and proximity to the club house. Perfect property for couples...two private bedrooms, one with TV, and two full baths. Contemporary design throughout with circular windows and sky lights. Spacious deck with large grill, heat lamp and comfortable furniture for pleasant outdoor dining. Will definitely return for a future stay.

Home for Kids, Kitchen Has Ants ≠ither Bedroom Has a Closet to Hang Clothes in

Very disappointed about the ants. After our first night we had to throw out so much food. While cleaning up the mess, we found an ant trap under the toaster, so they knew. We should have been told do we didn’t have to throw so much food away! Very disappointing. One bedroom doesn’t have a closet, so is it a bedroom? The other bedroom has a storage closet, but no bar to hang clothes on. Great home if you have kids, toys EVERYWHERE! They take over the living room, kitchen cabinet, bedroom, etc.. Overall, for the money, I’ll be asking for reimbursement for all the lost food! Every morning the ants were everywhere!

Bodega Bay Stay

My daughter and I stayed for two nights - an R & R for both of us. A very nice house! A suggestion might be to install a hand rail for the stair case. I would recommend this house - we had a great time.

Beautiful apartment / ant issue

My family loved the beach house. Overall, it was well kept and just 5 minutes from Doran Beach. The community has some stunning, short walks to the beach and the house is well equipped to take advantage of everything Bodega Bay has to offer (towels, beach toys, deck chairs, and more). Unfortunately, the house also suffers from a pest issue (as noted by the pest exterminators receipt in the lobby). Within a couple of hours of arriving, we found ants in the kitchen that were feeding off a pre-existing food source. Overnight, significantly more accumulated but a thorough clean of the surfaces ensured the ants were kept largely at bay. Worth noting that the ant traps that we found in the kitchen might represent a hazard for young children. The vacation rental company offered to send somebody in to take a look at the ants but we opted not to because of Covid-19. If the ant issue is addressed, we will definitely stay here again.

Anniversary Getaway

My wife and I were impressed with the beauty, cleanliness and attention to detail of this property. It felt very cozy and homey. The care taken to create such a lovely beach home made us feel welcome and honored to be in such a special place. This is the best rental we’ve ever stayed in and after 25 years of marriage we’ve been to a lot of places! We would definitely come back here.
