The cottage was amazing! One block away from all the fun in downtown Blue Ridge, beautiful balconies overlooking downtown with great sunrise views, and plenty of room for my family and our dog. We used the pool table and the arcade games every night, and liked the gas fireplace for the chilly nights. Host made everything easy.

Right on the edge of the strip, and walkable to all restaurants and bars. The home is spacious and beautiful, and the decks provide an amazing view of the sunset. We will absolutely stay here again.

Great spot in Blue Ridge

I’ve stayed in Blue Ridge several times and different places; this will be a repeat. Location is great, just a block from the main drag, and the property was clean, well kept, and a good sign to me was the ample, clean, and “in good shape” cooking utensils, pots pans etc. everything in the kitchen was what you would want to use. I’ve stayed at other homes when half the kitchen utensils are worn out. Cheers!

Nice stay in Blue Ridge

Very convenient to downtown Blue Ridge! Clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. If I had to make any suggestion, it would be maybe some seating in the basement rec room, but that's it. We enjoyed our stay!

Blue Ridge Cottage

The house is great! Perfectly set up for groups with friends & family. 3 levels allow separate time & comfort as well as a great gathering area. We loved the house. The only downside was very low water pressure.

Beautiful home and a great location

This was our second stay at this home. We Loved our stay and the location gives such an easy walk into town. It has a Great layout for families, it is very comfortable. Beautiful kitchen, loved the screened in porch. There are so many thoughtful amenities you offer, like bathroom and kitchen boxes filled with everything we could need! Our only suggestions would be to get better pillows (the ones you have are very flat) and make sure tv's are functional. We hope the new owners, once it sells, continue to offer it for short term rentals. Thank you for a lovely weekend!

4th of July in Blue Ridge

The kitchen was beautiful and well equipped so we could enjoy some easy meals at home. The beds were super comfortable. In spit of traffic noise, the screen porch was a favorite feature. Sadly we didn’t have enough time to enjoy the pool table but loved that it was available. Being so close to town that it was an easy walk was delightful.

Great Location

We have rented with Southern Comfort before and have only had good experiences. This property is a great location walking distance to town. We liked the layout with a bedroom on each floor. It has carpets on the stairs and upstairs which are a bit worn, and the bedding was pretty basic, but otherwise the beds were very comfy and the home was well appointed with plenty of towels and bathroom supplies. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great home!

We needed a blaze for our annual girls trip and this was secluded enough for privacy, but yet close enough to Blue Ridge to go into town and enjoy. The house was lovely and fully stocked clean and checking in and getting questions answered was very easy highly recommend this property!

Blue Ridge Vacation

Beautiful, clean house, in a super convenient location to downtown Blue Ridge. Really enjoyed our stay here. Having some coffee or pods for the coffee machine would have made it perfect.

Outside Stairs Difficult

The online pictures, made it look like the outside stairs were easier to maneuver. I almost missed that bottom step outside a few times. Cousin Cathy fell on the steps. We thought if you could paint the bottom step, it would stand out more and prevent anymore accidents. The stairs themselves are narrow going up or down to home. Odd shaped, hard to maneuver even totebags, etc. The home is beautiful. Getting into the home, dangerously difficult.

The property was even better than the pictures .The only downside was not having at least one pod to wash clothes, no coffee pods, you have to buy a box. No cooking spray, and wasn"t clear where to take trash no cans on property.

Great Property

Enjoyed this spacious rental. Multiple areas to spread out and enjoy friends and family. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The only downside was being on first street … it’s a very busy street and a main thoroughfare … pretty noisy during the day.

The first property we rented was misrepresented because there was a long steep stairway between the parking and the house. We didn't know that, but the Southern Comfort rep did a great job finding us another place, and that's why I only gave you 3 stars for Property accurately advertised
