Marcie is a great host and their property was a perfect fit for us! There was a lot of time spent in the water or on it fishing. The water is clear and has a nice shallow beach. The kayaks and paddleboard was used every day for traveling on the lake, and plenty of golf nearby for the golfers. The pickleball barn was a lot of fun for the family Matches. The house was very comfortable for the entire family and a great time was had by all. Thanks again Marcie.

Great family getaway

We had a wonderful family vacation at this beautiful lake property. There is something for everyone to enjoy. We were especially thankful for all of the thoughtful features for kids, toys, cribs, safety gates, door alarms, bunk beds, life jackets and outside toys, kids plates/cups and even a high chair! They thought of everything! The water was beautiful, clear, and shallow with a nice sandy bottom for the little ones to enjoy. The pickle ball barn was a huge hit! Thank you for hosting us in this beautiful property.

Lake Fun

Great home. Clean. The house has everything you need and has a nice view of lake. We recommend renting a boat since there is a dock in the back and there are many sandbars to anchor the boat and enjoy swimming, floating on rafts, tubing, and fishing. We also enjoyed the pickleball court. Close neighbors; need to keep it down.

Great stay!

The house and lake were a fantastic place for our two families to stay. The lake water was clean and the house and outside had lots of spaces to for us to enjoy each others company yet not feel crowded. Marcie was a great host; we hope to come back next summer!

Wow! We are already planning our return!

I can’t say enough about our amazing stay! My husband and I came with my Aunt and Uncle (who are in their 70’s). The home was stunning yet comfortable and inviting. There was something for everyone, inside and out. The beach area was completely raked and sandy and the water was literally crystal clear. The hosts were very gracious as well. We will be back!

Great house/great view/great lake

I knew upon arriving that we made the right choice for a weekend with friends. The house is as advertised - clean, plenty of room, excellent views, and well equipped kitchen. We opted for the boat rental which made the trip that much better. We really enjoyed Eagle Lake, parking at a beach with a nice sandy bottom (the entire lake seems to have fairly hard, sandy bottom), just hanging out. The lake is exceptionally clear, with minimal boating noise. Just a great time. The hosts are very responsive and helpful, if needed. Highly recommend!

Relaxing, spacious and welcoming

We do an annual family get together with my brothers' and sister's families. So we have a mixture of families and ages... and this place was amazing. Everyone had fun and found their activities and their space. There was enough room and space for everyone. Outside is great, with a walk-in sandy bottom... Great for swimming, fishing and even sand castle building. When we weren't outside, the kids loved the basement (and the bball pop a shot)! We cooked breakfast every morning on the outdoor griddle... I miss it now! So easy to feed everyone on the big griddle. I can't thank Marcie enough for hosting. There were so many nice touches that made us feel welcome and at home (towels, coffee, a Berkey filter, etc). We did have the power go out, and the generator kicked on automatically - it's like they thought of everything! Thank you! I hope we can make it back!

Just Fabulous!

I have to tell you that your place is fabulous!! We couldn’t have asked for a better home to bring our families to. No detail seemed to have been missed. The house is beautiful and in immaculate condition when we arrived. Bedrooms were spacious and bathrooms clean. Your well thought out home essentials, proved that I brought way more items than needed! We hosted our kids and grandkids for the week and there was something for all ages. We had 2 "crawlers" and the addition of baby gates throughout the home and alarms that signaled whenever anyone entered or left, were such a big help in keeping our grandkids safe. The game room was a big plus and the remote controlled 2-story shades opening to the lake were a dramatic hit for all ages. Eagle Lake is small yet beautifully clear and lots of shallow space for the little ones to have a blast swimming and fishing. I was a bit worried about the amount of dry sand for the kids to play in. But they hardly set foot in it! Too busy in the water! (I could have saved some $$ by not buying all those sand toys!). The biggest testament was from all our little ones: they all cried not wanting to leave their “vacation home” when it was time to go. Thank you, Marcie, your quick replies to all my random questions was a huge relief. We will definitely return to Eagles Nest!!

Fabulous in Every Way

From the comfort and beauty of the house to the amazing view and access to the lake, this home offered everything we wanted and more. Once there, we didn't want to leave. The house is built incredibly well with solid wood timbers and ceilings, smooth inlaid wooden floors, trendy carpeting and top of the line cabinetry and windows. Windows all around give occupants 180 degree views of the lake, and the incredible deck gives you the perfect setting for enjoying everything the property has to offer. Deck furniture ranges from comfy, cushioned wicker chairs and a sofa to large, clean picnic tables with umbrellas and beautiful chaise lounges. This property is definitely arranged with the outdoors in mind. Furniture inside the house was beautiful, comfortable, clean and built to accommodate a crowd. It is incredibly quiet inside so that early birds, up and using the kitchen, didn't awaken those who wanted to sleep in. We sat outside around the unique wire mesh firepit each evening watching the moon and stars sparkle on the lake. Those of us who wanted to fish could cast all day (and we did) from the end of the dock, or take the row boat out to many spots on the lake where the large mouth bass were biting. If you own Kayaks, bring them along, as this lake is perfect for kayaking and exploring the shorelines and enjoying time on the water. The neighbors are very friendly and helpful, too! The beds are firm and cozy. We brought our own cotton sheets. The full-size washer and dryer were brand new and state of the art. Everything worked as described, and the owners were amazingly responsive and accommodating. I would give this property six stars if I could!

Fantastic stay!

We loved this property! I spent a week with my husband and our toddler and crawling infant. The house was clean and comfortable. The amenities for small children were very helpful and made the vacation easier and enjoyable, but it wasn’t overwhelming to take away from the lake house feel. The lake is very clean and warm. Marcie and Nate were responsive and pleasant, too. Thanks for sharing your home with us. We will be back!

An Amazing Vacation

Our family enjoyed a refreshing vacation in this wonderful lakefront home. The home was clean, comfortable and fully stocked with everything we needed for a fun time on the lake. The childproofing details were great for our youngest daughter (18 months) and the older kids swam and used the canoe every day. We are so glad they have shared their home as a rental and look forward to booking here again in the future. You will not be disappointed if you stay here!!!
