Very clean and cutely decorated, beautiful views, darling kitchen, fragrant fresh flowers left for us, big bathroom, milk in the fridge, lovely gardens and deck. A bit out of town, so very quiet and we saw lots of stars. My first experience using a washer/dryer that was all in one unit.

Our host David was very responsive and helpful, recommending some great dining options prior to our arrival (thank you).The accommodations were very clean, and seem accurately depicted. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, however the furnishings were dated and the kitchen sink was located in the bathroom. The location is in the vineyards, and although a 10 minute drive to town, as described, it felt very remote. All and all, we had a comfortable 2-night stay.

The setting if this home is extraordinary. If you are looking for peace and quiet with a vast view of endless grape vines you will not be disappointed. Saundra was available with a quick hello and helpful local advice.

What a location! Hosts David and Sandra were great - friendly and accommodating. “The Barn” is a lovely property with just about everything you need. Don’t be put off by the fact that the kitchen sink is around the corner in the bathroom - blame local council rules! Newer induction cooktop and air fryer are more than adequate, plus there is a large BBQ outside.

Clean, well maintained and welcoming holiday home in a lovely location. 10 mins to Blenheim centre, the unit is in a very quiet and picturesque spot. Good facilities and kitchen essentials provided. The owners were responsive and helpful. Swimming spot nearby in Blenheim Rowing Club is great for kids. We had a great stay!

Beautiful accomodation, both inside and out. The property is lovely, private and well maintained. Location to Blenheim, and surroundings, is perfect. Sandra made us feel very welcome and gave us plenty of helpful tips for the area, many of which we took and enjoyed. Would give 10 stars if possible.

Family trip

Lovely location.Comfortable accomodation. No heating in living area, but provided when we asked.Kitchen really only set up for breakfast and snacks. No sink or water in it only in bathroom. This was problematic when preparing a meal.A cook top and air fryer type oven not a proper stove. Small fridge.It was very convenient for the vineyards.Most people would find the cooking arrangements ok, but we like to cook a meal

The property is okay but has some odd features such as the kitchen sink being in the bathroom, noisy latches instead of handles on the doors and inadequate lighting. When we stayed the main bedroom door was very squeaky but we left a note for the owners so hopefully the hinges have now been oiled.

Serene location nestled in the vineyard

This was our home base for 4 days of exploring the area. Wine tour picked us up at your driveway and dropped off on Jones road. We made a journey to Kaikōura trekked around at the seal colony with a stop at a great food truck. Ended with a Picton tour, great.

Loved The Wine Country

The stay in this house was very nice. It’s very peaceful in the vineyards. We were comfortable here. We enjoyed hiking around the area and doing a wine/bike tour with an added bike trip on Northbank Road.

Tranquil location, convenient to attractions.

Lovely home, immaculate with many amenities and wonderful quiet, scenic location. Kitchen a bit quirky with sink in the attached bathroom but you get used to it, and we cooked our meals and did just fine with the arrangement.Lovely, generous hosts.
