The rooms in this place were quite nice but when we went to use the kitchen the owner or manager was using the kitchen for themselves and their family. The kitchen was also a garage / storage unit so we did not feel comfortable using the kitchen. The cleanliness of the kitchen was also a bit of a problem. She was nice enough to let us use the kitchen in the main house to clean our dishes. We ended up just eating in our room.

Room : not bad. Host : really kind Shared kitchen It's very serious hygienically. The ingredients that appeared to belong to the host were not properly organized, causing numerous flies to fly around the kitchen, and the kitchen utensils appeared to be unusable and messy.

I like that the property was private and the house was well kept. I would have liked some usable options for toiletries especially body wash. And maybe opt for very small tooth paste so which can be disposed after few uses. I did not like using the tooth paste that was already used up by some stranger. And also an option for milk / bread in the fridge if its viable. But overall great experience 😊👌

The shower was dirty, did not remove blocks of used soap, glass in shower not clean, floor not clean. Kept tripping on floor mat in wardrobe where fridge was. Jug plugged in on floor. Pillow was like sleeping on a brick, had to go and buy a pillow. Side walk cluttered with stuff. No locks on internal doors. The lady was very polite who lived there.

This Blenheim accommodation is new and served our needs perfectly. It was easy to find and convenient located if travelling by car The bed was huge and very comfortable. Our host was gracious and available. We felt at home and enjoyed quiet privacy. Only regret was that we had to continue on our journey.
