This hotel is very tired and with torn curtains in the room and a very out od date bathroom. Floors creaking and out of date furniture in the room.

It was our first time staying here, we spent 2 nights as a family of 4 (2 children). We will definitely be back, the staff were all lovely and couldn't do enough for us all. The room was lovely and clean, the food was delicious and a great variety. We all had great fun in the pool and hot tub which were both clean, well maintained and both lovely and warm.

Lovely staff. Very quick and friendly check in. My room, the bar and restaurant were lovely and clean. The pool area was filthy and needs shutting down for a good clean. Food was delicious and a nice menu. Magda and Louise were great but so rushed off their feet. I think the Doric needs more waiting staff so Magda and Louise and the other brilliant staff can take it a bit easier. The hotel is ideally situated near to Bispham, which is, in my opinion, the most picturesque part of Blackpool. I loved the seaview from my room.

Great communal spaces, very comfortable and clean. Our room was 109 sea view 1 double bed , 2 single beds. Very spacious with a great sea view, bath in the bedroom with shower. Breakfast was lovely, freshly cooked and plenty. Indoor pool ( warm) and jacuzzi was great. We only stayed one night to see the last night of Blackpool lights. 3 adults and 1 child.
