LUXURY APARTMENT GIVING UP ON THE BEACH

FULL WEST ESPLANADE form part of the complex that includes a dozen luxury beach apartments. Esplanade is located in one of the most prestigious and most sought beaches.
Due west is the first line on the ground floor, directly on the beautiful white sand beach. The bath is also very pleasant.
The mountain views of the hill is beautiful and the sunset is an astonishing spectacle.
The apartment has 3 bedrooms with bathrooms en suite. The open kitchen is very well equipped. Dining room for 8 and comfortable lounge. The new apartment was in July 2013 Book.

The very beautiful swimming pool is large and pleasant.

the safety is ensured 24/24. The camera also provide survellance.
The maid and manager of the apartment. 9hr service is 1 hr daily, except Sundays and public holidays.
Parking is reserved in the apartment.
A five minute walk from the apartment there are restaurants and well-stocked shops. .

The climate in Black River is pleasant all year. The outputs catamarans are very beautiful and Recomended. a ride that lasts one day with a lunch stop on Ile aux clam is much appreciated visitors.
there are a dozen dives centers in the Western Region. the centers offer training recognized worldwide. has noted that the dives sites are very accessible, 20 minutes from the coast ..
The western area is deemed for fishing big. iil are several fishing centers offering day trips.

We loved the apartment - it's bright, airy, spacious and beautifully situated next to both a gorgeous pool and the sea. The sea views and sunsets are magnificent. Jean-Claude is a great host and Pratima and Cindy were very friendly. The location is central and close to all amenities - we really had a wonderful time and would love to return.

Great location and property

Very enjoyable stay. The location is great, on the beach with easy water access, as well as the pool. Restaurants and grocery shops in walking distance. The unit is well positioned in the block, with great facilities. We will be back!

Beautifully designed and positioned apartment

We were a family of four (with a 2 year old and 5 month old) staying for a week. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Esplanade. Incredible views of sunset from indoors; a beautiful lagoon, we swam out c. 200m and were still only elbow deep; great location, we bought fresh fish from fishmonger, less than five minutes walk away, and cooked on the Weber gas bbq overlooking the beach in the evenings. There is a lovely coffee shop ( Kuumba Coffee Black River) and bakery (La Kaz A Pain) a short walk away for breakfast / brunch. Mosquitos and pests, as with anywhere on the island's coast, are a problem but is managed efficiently and effectively by Jean Claude who was easily reached throughout our stay. Would highly recommend staying here and would love to stay again when the kids are older.

We had a week at this beautiful property. it is on the ground level and has a great view of the sunset. it has all the amenities for an extended stay. the decking around the pool could be fixed up. screws were missing and some boards were uneven. could pose a hazard for any kids playing around the pool. no issues other than that. definately recommend staying here. if we ever come back to Mauritius, this accommodation will be the first place we look up!!

Paradise!

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of visiting Mauritius during the last week of September this year (2019). Staying at Jean-Claude’s apartment in La Preneuse contributed significantly to holiday perfection. The apartment is much bigger and better as perceived by looking at the photos. All modern appliances, very clean, and it has everything required to cater for every need you might have. Complete and luxurious comfort in a very peaceful and stunningly beautiful environment. The location just abducts you away to a world that is in total harmony with nature. Having coffee on the patio staring at the stunning turquoise water right in front of you, makes you feel like you are truly in paradise. Right next to the apartment is a few large wild fig trees that becomes alive with the sound of what seems like thousands of small birds for about an hour or so. Such a treat. This location allows for hours of beach walking. It is conveniently situated close to a petrol station, Food lovers market, lots of good restaurants, a large supermarket 2 minutes drive away. The area is upmarket and felt totally secure (I even left the sliding door open a few times when I left the apartment). It is also a fantastic location for daily excursions as it is close enough to both Le Morne’s beaches for amazing snorkeling to the south and the very very popular Flic en Flac beach to the north. Also close by is the must see Black River Gorges National Park (via the exhilarating Champagne road) and the Chamarel Waterfall / Seven Coloured Earth. I feel that the West coast is the place to stay in Mauritius because of this. I would like to thank Jean-Claude and Pratima for their genuine hospitality. They took great care in making me feel welcome and looked after. Jean-Claude called me before I departed from South Africa to make sure that my late Sunday night arrival went smoothly. It was always pleasant to talk to the ‘Encyclopedia of Mauritius’ , lol! I highly recommend staying here. You will not want to leave paradise!

Relaxing Family Holiday

The property was excellent and provided a fantastic base for a relaxing family holiday in Mauritius. It was very comfortable with all the facilities we needed. Our two boys (10 & 11) loved playing in the pool and snorkelling in the sea which was shallow enough to be really safe for around 100m offshore. There are great local convenience shops and places to eat within a few minutes walk and plenty of sea based activities in nearby Tamarin and Black River. For more adventurous in land activities there are plenty of excursions within 30 mins drive including the Black River National Park, Chamarel and Casela nature park. Overall, we would highly recommend the property for anyone looking for a quiet, self catering holiday in Mauritius with lots of activity options close by,

Really nice location just on the beach and still private

We had a wonderful vacation. Great location with the beautiful Black River national park and the mountains to protect from the eastern wind and rain. 300 meters direct snorkeling to the coral reef and wonderful fresh fish (marlin and tuna) at the shop 100 meter away perfect for the barbecue with a squeeze of lime. Bakery is 200 meter away and supermarkets also within walking distance. The apartment is really nice. Large and well disposed. Best location in the complex of 12 apartments with a private terasse and great views of the Indian Ocean.

Great two weeks

We were two couples staying for 2 weeks in late November 2017. We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was perfect for us, with excellent room facilities and good beach. This apartment is very well located at Esplanade, might be the best location in the whole Esplanade property. We were swimming in the sea each morning, and in the pool each night before going to bed. The location was good, excellent restaurant Moustache in just a few minutes walking distance. Still mainly we made our own meals, buying fresh fish etc. for it. Weber barbeque belonging to apartment was very usefull. We had a rented car, so we could move around the island, playing golf at several golf courses. The traffic in Mauritius is not nice, lots of traffic jams and dangerous driving, and on the wrong side of the road. Everything went well anyway. Another disadvantage are mosquitoes. They are not any major problem if you just use protective repellent in the evenings from the first day. Mosquitoes, however, are not a fault of this apartment, they are present all over the island. If I had to decide once again, where to stay at Mauritius, I would definitely choose this place. Thank you for our host Jean Claude. You were very nice and helpfull. Thank you also for Pratima for taking so good care of housekeeping.

Wonderful apartment, lovely location!

We ( a couple) stayed for one week at the end of May and loved our stay here. The apartment is one of 12 on the complex but there were usually only 3 others occupied at that time of year. We usually had the pool to ourselves, but the ocean was warmer! Remember to bring your water shoes as there is coral everywhere. The owner, Jean Claude, phoned several times and dropped by once to make sure that everything was okay. Pratima, the housekeeper, came everyday except Sunday to clean, and for an extra cost she shopped and prepared a Mauritian dinner for us one evening. We didn't have a car but were able to walk to get groceries ( short walk to small market and long walk to larger London supermarket, snacks and bakery items at gas station nearby) and to visit the restaurants nearby (le bon Chute, Buddy's for burgers, Cozy Garden, and an Indian restaurant.) Fixtures and fittings in the apartment are first class, and the kitchen is equipped with all sorts of pots and gadgets and dishes. The only surprise is that we were responsible for supplying toilet paper after the 1 1/2 rolls that were provided on our arrival ran out, plus all the kitchen food basics like salt and pepper. The towels and sheets were not changed - perhaps this was our responsibility as well but it should be conveyed. But these were minor inconveniences to a lovely stay in an amazing location - quiet and secure. There is no public access to the beach in this area, and the apartment is set well back from the road, with 24 hour security. Amazing banyan tree beside the apartment where each evening the birds gather to serenade you with their music. Lovely walks along the beach, perfect for those who want a quiet and relaxing time - there's no nightlife here! TV only has English news channels, no programmes, so bring some books and enjoy the lovely views.

Wunderbares Appartement

Wir haben knapp 3 Wochen in dem wundervollen Appartement verbracht und haben unsere Zeit sehr genossen. Die Lage direkt am Meer ist wunderschön, die ganze Anlage sehr ansprechend, der Pool wunderbar. Die Umgebung bietet fußlĂ€ufig einen kleinen Supermarkt, mehrere Restaurants und auch eine Tankstelle.Von der Hauptstraße ist in der Anlage nichts zu hören. Ich kann die Ferienwohnung vollumfĂ€nglich nur empfehlen.

I had an amazing time staying at this beautiful holiday apartment. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the attention to detail throughout the space really made it feel like a home away from home.The location was perfect – quiet and peaceful, yet close to all the main attractions, shops, and restaurants. I especially appreciated the lovely balcony where I could enjoy my morning coffee with a view.Our host was extremely welcoming, friendly, and always available for any questions or recommendations. Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt im Paradies

Wir waren vollkommen zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt im Appartment.Wir durften schon um 9.00 Uhr hinein, und bei der Abreise bis Nachmittags kostenlos lĂ€nger bleiben. Vielen Dank dafĂŒr.Das Appartment war mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet.Einige SchrĂ€nke waren beschĂ€digt, aber das liegt wohl an den Mietern vor uns.Es war aber in keiner Funktion beeintrĂ€chtigt. Die Duschen wĂ€ren das einzige, was man bemĂ€ngeln könnte. Liegt wohl am LĂŒftungsverhalten der GĂ€ste.Fatima hat tĂ€glich grĂŒndlich geputzt, und alles gepflegt. Sie ist freundlich und rĂŒcksichtsvoll im Umgang mit den GĂ€sten.Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist einmalig schön. Abends den Sonnenuntergang bestaunen einfach herrlich. Sogar ein Fernglas war dort, um die Boote zum Delphin Beobachten anzuschauen.Der Pool ist super schön. Die Liegen am Pool leider sehr niedrig, sodass wir Probleme hatten aufzustehen (wir sind 60). Es ist meistens sehr ruhig dort, mit Aussnahme von den Vögeln die sich zwischen 18.00 und 18.45 im Baum sammeln und einen heidenkrach veranstalten. SpĂ€testens um 19.00 Uhr ist Ruhe, und tausende kleiner Vögel schlafen in den BĂ€umen. Faszinierend zu betrachten.FußlĂ€ufig befinden sich Supermarkt und Restaurants.Wir kommen bestimmt wieder hierhin.

It might be the best location on the island. The apartment was spacious and the service superb. Some details like the showers needed some maintenance, but who cares? Good restaurants in between walking distance, one even just down a beach walk.

Tolle Zeit in traumhafter Lage

Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit. Die Lage direkt am Meer mit Infinity-Pool ist ein Traum. Die Anlage ist rund um die Uhr bewacht und ein Zugang ist nur den GĂ€sten möglich. Am Pool und am Strand waren immer Sonnenliegen verfĂŒgbar, oft waren wir alleine. Sehr gute Restaurants in der NĂ€he. Kleine SchwĂ€chen: die Duschen brĂ€uchten einmal eine dringende Grundreinigung, der Sonnenschirm auf der Terrasse ist stark mit Schimmel befallen, die StĂŒhle auf der Terrasse mĂŒssten mal erneuert werden den Möbeln sieht man teilweise das Alter schon an. Trotzdem alles nicht tragisch und wir haben unsere Zeit sehr genossen

Wir (2 Erwachsene und 1Jugendlicher) hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Ferienwohnung. Jeden Morgen schon beim FrĂŒhstĂŒck mit Blick auf das Meer. Die Wohnung ist sauber, groß und mit Allem ausgestattet. Wochentags kommt tĂ€glich eine liebe Haushaltshilfe, die die Wohnung putzt. Die kleine Anlage rund um die Wohnung herum ist liebevoll gepflegt. Direkt an der Terrasse wĂ€chst ein großer Banyanbaum, in dem allabendlich ein wunderschönes Vogelkonzert zu hören ist. - Wir vermissen es hier Zuhause. In der NĂ€he ist ein Supermarkt in dem man gut einkaufen kann. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit.

Unser Aufenthalt hier im Apartment Esplanade war super 👍 der Strandabschitt ist sehr ruhig. Man kann gut zu Fuß gehen. Das Meer ist tĂŒrkis. Das Apartment hat alles was macht braucht. Jeden Tag kommt eine Reinigungsdame. Der Vermieter Jean Claude ist sehr nett und gut erreichbar. Die SonnenuntergĂ€nge ein Traum!
