Quiet retreat

Small, remote cabin good for a couples getaway. In cabin jacuzzi did not work, otherwise no complaints.

Review

Not clean. As if no one had stayed there for a while and we rented it. There were 5-10 dead moths under the right night stand. The left night stand had bug legs and a dead fly on it. There were small dead bugs in the tub. There were ice treys in the fridge that had dirt and a strand of hair frozen in it. The directions to get to the property states there was a sign that says bar fifty ranch to help understand where to go, there was no sign. Which made us question if we were in the right place. The check in info also said the cabin had a lock with a screen and to tap it to light it up hit the code then the backwards arrow to unlock. The cabin just had a key pad with buttons no screen no backwards arrow, which, again, made us wonder were we even in the right place because the lock didn’t match the description. The information book about the property was in a drawer in the entertainment center. Usually they are layed out easily to identify. There were no bottles of water. All of this aside, this is the only property we’ve rented where we felt like the owners didn’t appreciate their renters, or just not much effort put in to get someone to love the place and want to come back. In our experience, most property owners leave out the info book, have a guest book layed out to sign, a welcome note, complementary water bottles and snacks, complementary soaps that accommodate the jacuzzi tub.(we actually left bath salts) Of all the places we’ve rented, this has to be our least favorite.

Kitchen lights/ wall unit

The lights in the kitchen didn't work but it wasn't a problem bc i wasnt in there in the evenings. Wall unit makes a lot of noise ended up just using the radiator heater to heat the cabin and the fire and it was perfect.

Great little getaway for couples

Had a wonderful weekend retreat here with my lovely boyfriend. We relaxed in the hot tub , enjoyed some hiking and the view is beautiful. Very secluded. Had a small issue during our stay and the host didn't hesitate to investigate the issue. We will definitely be back. The driveway is a little rough so would not reccomend taking a low vehicle but our crossover did great. Loved our stay and we were sad to leave.

Great location!

My husband & I loved the location. The reason I did not give a 5 star rating, is because there was dead bugs/spiders, spiderwebs, & dirt all over the floor, tub, shower & back porch, as if it had been closed up awhile. I do not agree with the $75.00 cleaning fee, when the cabin is in that condition. We did have fresh towels & bedding.

Anniversary

This was just what a nurse and a fireman needed for their 1st wedding anniversary. It was absolutely amazing, the scenery was beautiful. Property had everything you need to escape for while…..it’s about 20 minutes away from Hot Springs, if you need more than a Dollar General….we will definitely be back!

Betty and Karl were just wonderful. They went above and beyond. Cabin was clean, stocked with what is needed for a stay and quiet location (great place to rejuvenate) Will return, but during the fall to enjoy the colors.

Romantic Christmas get a way

We absolutely loved the cabin down to every detail and will defiantly recommend this cabin to any couple looking for a romantic get a way. The cleanness of the cabin, the sheets, the towels, the robs, the hot tube, the views, the seclusion, the lay out of the cabin, the outdoor grill, back porch, the quietness and the tin roof especially since it rained. My wife and I were amazed, and we are planning to return at another time. We can't put into words how we felt in this cabin. We believe lots of prayer went into the planning stages of these cabins and is still continually bathed in prayer today. Simply an amazing experience for us that we will never forget. ☺ Thank you so much for all that you have done to make this a rememberable 3 days and on Christmas 2023 at that. We loved everything about it simply put and we have not one complaint☺

Perfect Location!

Great location. All of the amenities that you will need. Beautiful views! Very clean, quiet property. The owners kept us stocked with firewood the entire trip. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!!

Quiet, Cozy, Beautiful!

Absolutely beautiful cabin with amazing views. Small issue with power when first arrived due to storm from the night before but, owners came as soon as we notified them at 9pm and fixed the issue right away. Lovely people. We will definitely be making this a regular vacation spot.

Review

The location is very pretty. The cabin was very nice, comfortable, and clean. We were disappointed that the paddle boat was full of water.The pond area needed attention. We did realize that a signifcant storm had affected the area the previous week. We still felt that the paddle boat should have been ready along with the canoe. if they could not be ready, then an explanation should have been provided. We were also concerned about having to wear orange hunting jackets. We did hear some gun shots in the distance. This limited our hiking somewhat,

Great quiet getaway

It was a really nice quiet getaway yet still close enough to explore Hot Springs. The cabin was surprisingly well stocked which was great. Our favorite parts were the tub and reading on the deck out back.
