Requires maintenance improvements

The glamping pod looked lovely and was very clean, as were the toilets & showers. I didn't see any staff until my last day when I was able to give feedback about there being no hot water in any of the hand basins in the ladies' washroom (although the showers were great). I also reported that the mattress was very uncomfortable with protruding springs and was assured that both defects would be rectified. I also mentioned that I found the site very dark once the sun had gone down, but it was only later that I realised why that was. Many of the lights installed around the field were not working and some were very faint compared to others. I connected to the free WiFi but wasn't able to access the internet for the whole of my stay due to a very weak/non-existent signal.

We stayed in the Cabin which is tucked away in the corner of the park. This was very quiet and very homely and the hot tub was nice bonus. Rooms were comfortable, everything was great for the length of our stay. Will definitely book again if in the area

Overall great stay with just a few tweaks

Staff very friendly and pod perfect. Great for me and pooch. Lots of space for her to run around and behind through an access point is High Woods, perfect for dogs. The downer is the rubbish. Bins overflowing and not being emptied daily especially poo bins which is a shame as its an easy fix. Showers are fine but of the 4 toilets one has a broken seat and the other is coming away from the floor. I'm sure once fixed it'll be 5* throughout.

Lovely winter option. Pod was cosy and warm. Shower/toilet block was excellent. Kettle and a few tea/coffee amenities provided which was lovely. Only thing the pod could have done with was a nightstand/bedside table for glasses, phone etc as ended up using one of the fold up wooden chairs. Mattress was very soft so if you’re used to a firm mattress just make note.

Do not risk it!

Do not risk booking here!! My son was very excited about glamping. We booked two nights as part of a longer trip. The owners cancelled our booking on the morning, they called me at about midday!! We were already on our way. So, with no notice at all we were left with nowhere to stay for 2 nights. Refund was only made when I insisted, and will still be up to 2 weeks before I receive it.
