Lovely garden

Only 2 of us so plenty of space. 40 min walk along the river into Bergerac, pleasant if weather good. Loved seeing the hosts cats playing in the garden.

Perfect stay

We really enjoyed our stay here at this lovely location with welcoming hosts. The apartment is situated at the back of a beautiful house, surrounded by greenery and wisteria, and we were allowed private use of the garden. It's a really romantic and peaceful location but you don't feel isolated here. The host couple are friendly and did their very best to understand us as an English couple with very little confidence in the French language! Thank you Nathalie and Claude for your understanding. The accommodation is spotless and the kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfy. If you're an animal lover like me, you will enjoy the visits from the very friendly pets, and we were also able to borrow bikes for a relaxing ride along the river to Bergerac centre which is close by. Nathalie also told us of the free bus which stops nearby and runs frequently to the town centre, where there is a train station linking to Bordeaux and Sarlat. We were delighted we chose this property for a real taste of France and French hospitality and would recommend a visit!
