Arrived in Bergen by train at 17:00. Was a short walk but very doable even carrying my pack. Location was great for walking around site seeing. Close to many food options and bars. Service in Hotel was wonderful. Great stay.

Best Location in Town

The hotel was in the best location for the town - right across the street from the fish market and other good restaurants. Not to mention a short walk to Old town Bergen with its museum. The Scandic was clean and check in was very easy.

Happily back

2nd stay (booked 2 days on either end of 12-day coastal cruise), so knew the hotel and its wonderful bkfst buffet. Had a much smaller room this time, but still very comfortable and with an even better view of Bryggen. Desk staff, particularly Inga, very helpful.

Havn Haven

After a LONG trip, we dragged into the lobby and Inga was amazing. She upgraded our room (to Accessible - we're old and must have looked awful) with a view over the harbor to Bryggen. The room was quiet, spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was extensive and very good quality with relaxed seating. Central location made extensive walks around the city very comfortable. Happily booked another two nights to recover after our 12-day Hurtigruten voyage.

It is ok and in a very good location. However, rooms are very basic and you need to book cleaning of your room the day before, otherwise they don't clean your room!! Never seen this in any other hotel!

Very well located for a nice vacation. Rooms are small but comfortable, bathroom clean and easy to use. Included breakfast is very well served with plenty and divers euro style food. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

The most comfortable bed I have been in at a hotel and I've stayed in numerous.The first tine in months I slept through the night. The breakfast options were amazing! I've never ever seen so many options for a vegan. I am definitely staying again on my return trip! I'd give more stars if I could!
