My recent stay at Hotel Onya in Switzerland was truly exceptional, far surpassing any expectations set by its online presence. The photos, while lovely, simply do not do the hotel justice; it's infinitely warmer and more inviting in person, creating an immediate sense of comfort. The views from the hotel are nothing short of incredible, offering breathtaking panoramas that made every moment feel like a postcard. Beyond the stunning scenery, the hotel's restaurant delivered an unparalleled culinary experience. The food was, quite honestly, the best I've had in all of Switzerland, a testament to their exceptional quality and skill. However, the true highlight of my stay, and what made Hotel Onya truly shine, was Isabelle. She was an absolute delight – consistently warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Her genuine hospitality and delightful demeanor made every interaction a pleasure, and the owners are truly fortunate to have her representing their establishment. The waitstaff throughout the restaurant was also remarkably friendly and attentive, further enhancing the overall experience. After spending five days exploring Switzerland, our time at Hotel Onya was unequivocally our favorite part. I am already planning my return, eager to experience the hotel and its surroundings in the winter, to enjoy the snow side rather than just the hiking. For anyone seeking an unforgettable stay in Switzerland, Hotel Onya comes with my highest recommendation.

It was absolutely amazing. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent and the rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. The hotel itself was directly across from the ski lift, so we were on the slopes within minutes. We thoroughly enjoyed the extensive & beautiful Wellness area and wish we could’ve extended our stay.

Just a beautiful hotel in stunning surroundings! Super friendly staff, they even called me up when I was a late check in, to ask if they should prepare some late night dinner! Nice breakfast, great pool area and outdoor terrace. Will most definitely be back in this Mecca for all things outdoors!
