First off, I cannot fault the host, Marie, who was warm and welcoming when we arrived and was quick to respond to any issues we had during our stay. The property is very much as per the pictures in the listing with the upstairs being light and airy but the downstairs is rather dark. Although we didn't use it, the games room looked like it could be fun and give older children a space of their own. The pool is great. It is clean and well maintained and Marie's husband comes by every other day to check it out.The location is good and generally peaceful, although the road running next to the property is used as a bit of a cut through. We have stayed in rural France many times so know what to expect but we did at least expect to be able to find an open restaurant in one of the neighbouring towns. Perhaps it was the time of the year we went as many were closed for all or a large part of August. The addition of WiFi would boost the overall review score and be a big help to those without unlimited data roaming.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Marie was very welcoming and helpful. The property has everything that a family would need. It is a beautiful old farm house, very clean with loads of space and a separate games room which was great entertainment. The pool area was also wonderful. It is in a remote area in the countryside with small towns/village near by so you would need a car but that is what we were looking for. I would very much recommend this property.
