What should I bring to a spa hotel? When choosing what to take to your spa hotel, think comfort and practicality. Loose-fitting clothing is ideal spa attire. Along with bathrobes, a lot of hotels issue slippers on arrival. However, if you're taking a fitness or yoga class, pack your favorite trainers. Hoping to reset and recharge in the steaming hot tub or enjoy a dip in the pool? A swimsuit is essential. While spending all day lazing around in very little can be blissfully fun, keep in mind there may be a dress code for the restaurant if you're at a high-quality resort. Throw a smart outfit in your bag — just in case.

Merida Santiago Hotel Boutique
"Very helpful staff that put in extra effort to make the stay smooth. Comfy bed. Parking was right in front of the building, which was super convenient. The toilet had some problems at first, but once I informed hotel staff, they fixed it promptly. Only slight downside was the shower. There wasn’t as much hot water as I’m accustomed to, and at one point even the cold water ran out right in the middle of showering. So had to stay soapy for about 10 mins until water came back. Luckily didn’t miss any plans because of it. Also the fridge was located in the bathroom, which I found awkward to use. Overall though, good place. Would consider staying there again."
