This property is very unlike a regular hotel. It is more like renting a small efficiency apartment - one that doesn't have the regular hotel amenities - like a reception area, bar, restaurant. It is rather inconspicuous from the street as it doesn't have a lobby, rather a buzzer that alerts Giovanni, the proprietor, to "answer the door". We got their fairly early in the morning from our cruise and I believe we might have woken him up! After registration, we were given a passcode into the building, and it was easy after that. The rooms were nicely appointed, clean, and the location is a terrific central location within walking distance to everything in Bari. Breakfast is a voucher given to you for a nice cafe down the street. We would recommend staying there if you're not looking for all the other amenities in a typical hotel.

Little Gem of a Place in Bari

We really enjoyed the stay at Mari Rooms & Suites. Giovanni and Martina have been absolutely wonderful and accommodating during our stay and visit to Bari. Location is great within proximity to old city - 10 mins walk to St Nicola Basilica and great restaurants, shopping and more. Definitely a place to come back to.

The location of the property is situated in the middle of the city. it's a short walk to the Old Town and to the Bus Station. There are also plenty of busses that stop close to the property. If you stay here, you are not far from many great restaurants and a great cafe across the street. The property is more of a collection of rooms, instead of a hotel. You will share a kitchen area with other guests. The rooms are VERY nice and clean. The manager was very helpful and hospitable. Make sure to ask for contanct information and check out information. I would stay here again.

Newly built apartment, well decorated with style, fancy, in a building right in the commercial center of Bari, not to far from port and train station. Checkin a bit hard as it was not clear that the office/reception was next to the entrance to the apartment building. Depending from which side you arrive, you will either see this entrance or the office first... Some more info needed about breakfast place would be good, we were not sure where to go with the vouchers we received at checkin (vouchers should mention the bistro's name). Once we found the breakfast in a nearby bistro, it was really great though. Bistro is often very crowded, sometimes we had to wait a while for a free table. Cleaning staff just entered the room without knocking and/or waiting, but was very kind, should be a bit more delicate though to not provoke bad situations.
