This hotel had no ambience or vibe. The room and bath were clean and updated but the property grounds are not well kept and there is hardly any staff. It felt more like two star.

Nice hotel with a private rocky beach (no sand)

My wife and I came for a short honeymoon after our wedding. It was a nice welcoming place. Quite a simple set up. The nearest sandy beach is several kilometres away.

Good base for exploring Puglia

Good sized bedroom and bathroom with efficient room service. Great outside space to relax in after a busy day exploring. And air conditioning. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Not the most exciting beach, and a rather disappointing pool. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. Overall the venue felt unfinished, however it wouldn't take much to transform it (I'm sure that's the plan). It's essential to rent a car if you visit and thanks to the location you're be less than an hour from many beautiful towns, beaches, and countryside.

Family break

The facilities were ideal for a family with small children. The only downside was that we ordered a taxi to take us to the airport on the last day and the taxi driver charged 16 euro to come to the hotel and it totalled 50 euro when we got to the airport. We felt it was excessive.

The stay was good but we were out of season, tired after travelling and simply wanted something to eat without going far. Hence we walked across the bay looking for restaurants and were mugged. It was a quiet area away from Bari centre.

Right place wrong time

Arrived at night no restaurant, nothing open, no car. Next day better cinzia arrived very helpful. Sadly it was out of season and 5km from Bari. If I had a car it would have been fine. It has beautiful setting and in season I am sure it would have been fine. The problem was that I did not realise how isolated it was and that it was virtually closed at that time of year.

Off-season Visit with Baby

The (rocky) "beach" and outdoor recreational areas are closed after the summer. Easy access to SS16 highway by car but public transportation not nearby. No other restaurants within walking distance. Good breakfast; decent dinners. Quiet & spacious. A toddler highchair was available in the dining room but the hotel had no baby crib available for sleeping.

Disappointing

I booked this hotel several months in advance based on it's activities, location and trip advisor ratings. We arrived to a locked gate that had me wondering if the hotel had closed down. The gate did open and we found our way to reception. We then learned that all the activities were closed. No pool, no kids club, no babysitting service, etc. The property had a cold feeling like a prison. The grounds have not been tended to and looked in disrepair. The room was okay though. Very clean.

Awful!

Dont stay there. They say they are a Trulli hotel but they only have ten Trulli rooms. The rest are normal beach type square rooms. The swimming pool was dire, i didnt swim in it! The coffee in the morning was machine coffee! In Italy!!!?It was 15k from Bari.

Very enjoyable 2 days! The reception staff was personable and extremely helpful. Lovely room...comfortable and clean. Newly remodeled resort. Only problem was finding it... Our GPS didn't locate it easily. This was our fault!

Die Unterkunft hat uns gefallen. Das Frühstück ist typisch italienisch. Wenig bis gar keine Abwechselung. In Deutschland ist man oft mehr gewöhnt. Der Pool und der Zugang zum Meer sind ab Ende September im Hotel dicht. Für Reisende mit Kind (10 Jahre) ein echtes Manko. Das Personal ist wirklich sehr hilfsbereit.
