This place is super clean and I loved that it’s been recently updated. The carpet and furniture is new. The grounds are immaculate and the staff is great. The restaurant is also amazing! There aren’t a lot of options to eat in the area but the onsite restaurant is really good! My only complaint is that even though everything is new the beds are hard and so uncomfortable and the TVs in the room are very small.

I’m most pleased with the staff at Kimball Terrace Inn. Debbie and Rhonda were amazing and so caring when I was unfortunately sick with food poisoning from a lobster pound not on the island. Debbie brought me pepto bismol and a soda after seeing that I was so ill. She was genuinely concerned about my well being. The location of Kimball Terrace Inn shouldn’t discourage anyone from staying with them since the Northeast Harbor is lovely and only minutes from Acadia National Park and 25 minutes from Bar Harbor which was a little too busy IMO. I highly recommend Kimball Terrace Inn and will stay there again when I return.

This place is a hidden gem. Between the gift shop, restaurant, location and friendly staff I can't believe we lucked out. The rooms and location itself is very clean. Beds are okay. A bit hard but honestly we slept like a rock. Patio is spacious with a great view of the harbor. The only complaint is the noise above is from other guests. Luckily we were able to use the AC to drown it out. 10 out of 10 would recommend this place.

This property was very nice! Large comfortable room that was very clean. Very friendly, accommodating staff. Had everything one might need. Delicious restaurant right next door to walk to. Beautiful view from room/balcony. Price reasonable.

The place has just been renovated and looks great, but there was no ventilation afterward, leaving the air filled with a strong, pungent odor. There’s absolutely no sound insulation — we could hear everything the neighbors were doing, even their whispers. It feels like they’ve prioritized profit over guest comfort. Overall, a very poor experience. We won’t be returning.

We were greeted by friendly staff each time we went to the front desk. Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious. There is a free coffee bar 24 hrs a day. (Tea is also available). There is a microwave in the lobby as well. There is no continental breakfast, but the restaurant next door opens at 7:30 am. Food there is very good. There are no laundry facilities on site. Would were stay there again, yes.

Super friendly and chilled. Very easy to spend time here just relaxing on your deck enjoying the view and unwind. The little town is walkable with a small number of bakeries, deli, maketplace, cafe and restaurants. Very peaceful, without the crowds. I had a superb Halibut dish from the attached restaurant.
