The cabin was perfect for grandparents, parents and two children. We found everything to be as described. We cooked almost all meals there and the hot tub was wonderful. The weather was very cold during our stay and we felt the basement level needed a better heating source other than just an electric fireplace in the play room. The cold did not keep the kids from playing ping pong or air hockey though. They just could not sleep or watch tv down there.

This home is well stocked with plenty of room for a group. The gas fireplace kept us warm during the snow and freezing temperatures. Nothing better than a hot tub in winter. After 10-12 inches of snow we didn’t feel safe driving away at our designated time and Carolina Cabins graciously accommodated us for one additional night. Would stay here again.

The house was exactly as described with lots of space, comfortable beds and great location. We enjoyed the hot tub and gathering around the large dining table for meals and playing games.

The house was great. The back porch was the best. However we were disappointed to be informed shortly before our arrival that the gas logs on the porch were not working. The nights on Beech can get cool. Most nights I was wrapped up in a blanket sitting outside. I was looking forward to the warmth and ambiance of gas logs. The rental company refunded us 100 for the inconvenience. Very clean and cozy. We enjoyed the deer that visited every morning and evening. Beech mountain is so beautiful. The house could have used more drinking glasses and cooking utensils. It had very nice serving dishes, flatware, and dinnerware. The coffee pot was super, even had a milk frother. The only other negative was the fact that the rental only came with ONE bath towel per person. I have NEVER experienced that in this caliber of a rental.
