The host is responsive and the unit is in a great location. You have an excellent view of the mountain and slopes. You could walk to the nearby restaurants and shops but when we were there we got four inches of snow, had 45mph wind gusts, and the feels like temperatures were in the negatives so we did not try to walk in any of that. The pool area looked great and felt warm but we did not have enough time to try any of it out. The property can be a bit treacherous. Walking from the car to the path was iced over and tricky to navigate, especially for my mother who is in her 60s. The outside stairs and hallway had snow and ice all over them as well. There was never an attempt by the property to shovel any of it which seems like a real liability. Also, it was fairly loud when people walked over it which did wake a few of us up at night. But the unit itself is nice and we enjoyed our stay overall. I'm sure in the warmer months it's even more fun with the ability to do the outdoor activities it has to offer along with hiking. If you are coming here to ski this is an excellent location to stay in.
