Pros: Right by the ocean, incredible view from our room, close to Old Town Bandon and the viewpoints and sights! We appreciate and are glad we stayed at the property for these reasons :) Now for the cons: Room was in *very* poor condition, stained carpet, beds were sinking in, dusty surfaces, no AC which is ok but only one tiny and very dusty fan to help with cooling and air flow, room doesn’t have a mini refrigerator or microwave. I understand paying $160 for the incredible view and location, and to me for the cost the room it should also be decent and in better condition. Staying here next time we’re in Bandon will be a last resort.

Nice ocean views

After an initial mixup, we were relocated to a lovely room with a king bed, living area, balcony, and microwave and refrigerator. It was very clean and comfortable and had an ocean view as do most of the rooms. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It is worth upgrading to a more expensive room. They provide a basic but nice breakfast. The town of Bandon is a great location.

Limited privacy

The room we stayed in offered limited privacy. Minimal food offerings for breakfast. Very much older hotel, would not rent these rooms again. If they had a different room, might stay again.

The ocean front rooms were small, perhaps cozy fits it better. I felt like I was in a cabin, which was great. A cool thing: they had remodeled the bathroom, but left a trace of bygone days in the wooden vent and vent door. Also, the view couldn't be beat! The direct view of Face Rock is spectacular!

This is what the fresh air vent looks like when it's opened. Simple but functional!
There was also a fresh air vent in the main room. That was great because you could leave it open and hear the ocean all night.

Easy to find. Staff that helped with check in were very helpful Room felt dark and dingy. A door between mine and the next room was very flimsy- locked with a hook. When the couple came in late, lights shone through and they were very loud. Described with a deck but not attached to the room- it was a common deck area. Breakfast was in a paper bag and served yourself. Walking along the beach was very accessible. Face Rock Wayside Park is amazing and the Oregon Coast never disappoints.

I liked its location for sure! But the rooms didn't have a fridge, microwave, end tables next bed, a clock or hair dryer. They only gave you enough coffee for one pot, very small pot. For the price, i would have thought it would have had basic amenities.
