Absolutely magical

We stayed as a multigenerational group for my mum's 70th and the entire stay was magical. The cottages have been built with incredible craftsmanship and love into the small details. The kitchens and living areas are good sizes with all amenities taken care of. The games room and games lawn were a huge hit with the kids as was the wildlife in the woods and the pond. We didn't even need to leave the site as there was so much to do.

Home Away from Home

Our ninth stay in Cobnut, as welcoming and comfortable now as a favourite sweater. The amenities at this property cannot be beat: the views, the appointments in the kitchen and living area, the exercise room, the laundry - and the free firewood! A sudden hailstorm in May only increased our sense of cosiness in our snug cottage. The Barbour family consistently go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome and cared for. The location is superb for visiting Hidcote, Blenheim, Broadway, the Rollrights, the Tews, and many National Trust properties. We took in jousting at Blenheim, a wonderful circus, and the Falconry Centre on this visit. We look forward all year to a few weeks on the farm, and cannot wait to return!

Amazing stay

Absolutely perfect stay, the cottage and service on top level. My only advise to the owner is to provide local produce for the kitchen, this can be added to the cost, but it is always very pleasant to have local eggs, bread, butter, bacon and rapeseed oil ready for your breakfast in the fridge.

A beautifully presented cottage.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying in Cobnut. Impressed by the attention to detail, from the decor to the well stocked kitchen and the generous supply of logs for the fire. The Aslan doors are a wonderful feature in the entrance hall. Felt very welcomed and valued as a guest by the hosts and would highly recommend.

A beautiful cottage, very well equipped, in lovely surroundings. The owners made us very welcome, and we really enjoyed yoga sessions with Sasha, who was knowledgeable, professional and very pleasant. Great facilities, with loads to do.

Central Location

This was our six stay at Heath Farm. Each stay at a Heath Farm cottage was excellent. Cobnut was spacious and comfortable. There were plenty of walking paths some easy and moderate others challenging. Heath Farm is a central location with easy access to shopping in Banbury and local villages.

A haven of peace and a fine base for exploring the area.

Lovely location. Very comfortable and well appointed accommodation. Quiet and peaceful. I appreciated being able to use electric charging point on-site: most convenient. The whole set-up at this site with five cottages was impressive and obviously carefully thought-through. Lovely grounds to wander in around the property. Plenty of interesting places to visit nearby. Strongly recommended.

Highly Recommended!

This charming cottage was everything we hoped for and more--beautiful, roomy, and welcoming. We loved strolling through as much of the 70 acres of paths and gardens as we could. There is even a pond where you can feed the fish. A fire in the fireplace on chilly nights was a lovely end to a day in the Cotswolds. Perfection!

Great stay

We had an amazing stay at this property the pictures do not do it justice. The location was great and the grounds surrounding the property are so beautiful. I was relaxed in no time. We rented two cottages as we had 6 adults in our group. The kitchens were well equipped for cooking. We all enjoyed the cake on arrival and a great touch to have milk and tea bags on our arrival. We were visiting from America but would definitely return to this property again.

Relaxing Retreat

Cobnut is a cosy ,comfortable cottage with beautiful views out onto the Oxfordshire countryside. It had everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend visiting the Cotswolds and the theatre in Stratford. The cottage is situated in a very peaceful location and we enjoyed seeing the wildlife including muntjac deer. Thank you for the welcome goodies. This was our second stay at Cobnut and we hope to return again soon.

Amazing Short Family Break

No other words than amazing!! One of the best self-catering cottage I have ever and probably will ever stay in. We loved every moment from the roaring log fire to the super views across the hills. The Barbours the very best hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Our children of 10 and 11 loved the games room and have made us promise what we can return one day very soon. Sheer relaxing delight.

Peaceful getaway

This was our fourth visit to Heath farm. It is a little gem for those wanting some peace and to recharge from city life. It is the epitome of calmness and serenity. Cleverly placed windows from each cottage allow a guest amazing views around the farm, privacy and a sense of connection with nature. The orchard, chicken and play room are our favourite things to do with our four year son.

Ultimate Cottage-core Experience

What's there not to like about Heath Farm Cottage? Serene setting - I watched the sheep munching on grass right outside my dining room's window while I enjoyed my morning coffee. Amazing amenity - the property thought of everything one could possibly need while staying there. Friendly staff - Mon has definitely become a close friend after our stay!

The friendliest goats!

We've stayed here before so knew what to expect, and yet again we had a wonderful holiday. David, Nina and the team seem to have thought of everything from the well stocked games room, to the well designed accommodation and the plentiful activities across the farm. This year they introduced goats which were so adorable our children didn't want to leave them. Cobnut overlooks a sheep and goat paddock, the well stocked trout lake and the forest and hills beyond, it really is majestic from early morning to sunset. We've already booked next years stay...
