Villa Lucrezia with 3 bedrooms with double beds or single beds - depending on the wishes of our holiday guests, garden, terrace, air conditioning and with a wonderful sea view and plenty of space outside. It is only 500 m away from the beautiful sandy beaches. The kitchen is equipped with typical Sicilian tiles. A cozy terrace invites you to relax. It is the ideal accommodation for summer. The Villa Lucrezia is also the ideal place to spend the winter.

We have prepared timetables for day trips by train or bus especially for our guests. Public transport is very cheap here in Sicily.

Good place to rest
The place is actually two properties, there were other people staying next door which surprised us, we only realized that on arrival. They were staying on the side we wanted as shown on this listing and we talked to Girolamo and his wife about it, they agreed that the listing doesn't reflect the fact. The place was clean and for the most part it was relaxing to be there, we had to stay on the rear side which also has a porch (not shown here), the sea breeze is very nice there. The owners are very responsive and polite. They helped us with many things since our arrival. If you think of going there note that you really need a car to get around, we rented one from one of the local companies in the village, called Jumbo for around 315 euros for 9 days (June 2018) and a free ride back to the airport on our return, which was nice, no credit car was required.
Go and see the many gorgeous places around, the food is fantastic and we made some friends at the local Pizzeria lo Squalo just down the road, the food there is amazing and good value. We would love to go back some time, Sicily is very special.

Mooi uitzicht en tuin
Alles wat nodig voor ons verblijf. Terras en tuin met zicht op de zee beneden. Goede prijs/ kwaliteit verhouding.Vriendelijke eigenaars die vlot communiceren. We waren met 2 volwassenen en 4 tieners. Huisje is gelegen op wandelafstand van het strand en het dorpje. Voor verdere uitstapjes hebben we ter plaatse een auto gehuurd, want de trein kwam niet opdagen. Autoverhuur vlot verlopen. Veel mooieplekken bezocht op een half of max 1 uurtje rijden.

Séjour au calme face a la mer
Très bon séjour a balestrate. La maison est calme, pratique et très bien équipée. Difficile de quitter Sa terrasse ombragée toute la journee face a la mer! Balestrate est une petite station balnéaire calme et authentique proche des points dintérêt. Un très bon sejour!

Es war alles ganz Toll !
Wir haben wunderschöne 16 Tage in Balestrate und in der schönen Ferienwohnung verbracht.Es gab nichts auszusetzen.Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.Frau und Herr Mazzola haben uns sehr viele Tipps in deutsch gegeben,das hat uns sehr geholfen.Nach einen kleinen Proplem war der Vermieter in 10 Minuten vor Ort,es wurde schnellstens erledigt.Meine Frau und Ich haben sehr schöne Ausflüge mit dem Auto unternommen.Urlaub bei der Familie Mazzola kann mann zu 100% empfehlen. Une experience formidable à Balestrate !
Nous garderons un souvenir formidable de notre séjour à Balestrate.
La maison est à quelques mètres de la mer, d'ailleurs on la voit de la propriété.
La propriété est fermée par un portail. Le jardin est vaste, bien entretenu. La terrasse est très grande. La maison est mitoyenne. Le jardin est pensé pour que chacun puisse profiter de son espace.
La maison est fonctionnelle à vivre et très propre : 3 chambres, une pièce de vie cuisine/salle/salon et une salle d'eau/WC. Les photos du site internet sont fidèles à la réalité. Pendant notre séjour en février, nous avons utilisé très peu de chauffage. Le temps était très agréable !
La maison est proche du centre de Balestrate. Nous avons profité des commerces de la ville en nous déplaçant à pied. Les siciliens sont accueillants !
Nous avons loué une voiture directement à Balestrate pour la moitié de notre séjour :
De très beaux site sont à visiter à proximité : des paysages à couper le souffle, des plages dignes des cartes postales, la réserve naturelle, les bains chauds...
Vous pouvez aussi prendre le train. Il y a une gare à Balestrate. Nous sommes allés à Palermo en train.
Je veux terminer en vous parlant de Andréa et Gérolamo qui nous ont très bien accueillis. Ils parlent plusieurs langues et sont très attentifs à nos besoins mais aussi discrets pour nous permettre de passer des vacances réussies. Nous avons pu visiter leur petite ferme d'huile d'olive. VRAIMENT MERCI : Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de nos vacances.

très bonnes vacances , manque 1 peu de matériel de cuisine ( ex four a micro ondes )
dommage que le chien des voisins reste seul dans leur maison et jappe toute la nuit 1 peu trop bruyant a cause de cela

Een aanrader!
Casale Mare is een aangename woning met ruime kamers, een ruim en gezellig terras. Op 600 m. van het centrum van Balestre en de stranden zijn makkelijk te bereiken. Het huis is ook goed gelegen om de verschillende antieke sites en bv. Palermo te bezoeken. Een minpunt is wel de toegang tot het internet die traag en onstabiel was. De eigenaars zijn goed bereikbaar en behulpzaam. Een aanrader.
