Soak in the jacuzzi pool while listening to the relaxing sound of the river. Surrounded by a massive 1400 acres of a protected wildlife corridor at the end of a private road. This means we you will be enjoying monkeys, toucans, hummingbirds, & amazing wildlife thriving all around the property!
2km to the beach and 5 minutes from the heart of Uvita. River, Jungle, & Beach! Riverfront Nature Lodge - "Casitas Del Rio" (houses on the river) 2 adults, but you can rent more units accordingly if you need more space.

We offer 5 individual villas all with equipped kitchens and air conditioning. Directly beside an amazing river and 2km to the beach! Our location allows quick and easy access to several beaches, grocery stores, restaurants, banks, and many adventures. The small town of Uvita and the lovely beaches of Playa Ballena, Playa Colonia, and Playa Hermosa are a 5 minute drive from your Casita. Dominical, the popular surf town with its funky bohemian beach bar vibe, is a 12 minute drive north.

Surrounded by a protected wildlife corridor and at the end of a private road. You will be infused with nature with the magical combination of the river and jungle attracting tons of Costa Rica's amazing wildlife!

Each villa perfectly accommodates 2 people, they are thoughtfully furnished with a queen-sized bed, locally made dining table for 2, bathroom with granite sink, powerful large shower, & Wi Fi. The kitchen is complete with all the necessary utensils you require to cook your perfect meal & includes, dishes, an induction stove-top, a refridgerator, a microwave oven, toaster, coffeemaker, & blender.
Outside your villa, you will enjoy the lush tropical gardens and trees carefully planted to attract the exotic animals that surround Casita Del Rio. There is private secure parking next to your accommodation. The porch is covered and has the added benefit of a ceiling fan with a view of the river and jungle.

Hear the Congo monkeys howl, watch the toucans fly from tree to tree, dip your toes in the cascading ripples of the river right in front of your porch. We have a 50ft pool for you to relax in, or take a leisurely stroll up-river to discover a hidden waterfall, and more natural swimming holes, then come back and grill up on the BBQ in the covered Ranchero beside the garden.

We take bookings for individuals, families or groups. You could even rent all 5 villas for a private family or friends get-away, or an intimate wedding ceremony. Our area offers stunning mountain and coastal scenery. The massive national park includes 4 beaches, the largest coral reef in the country and of course the massive migration of whales. They stay longer here than any other place in the world. Paddleboarding, adventure tours, hiking, kayaking, zip-lining, whale & dolphin tours, bird-watching, horse- back riding, hidden waterfalls & swimming holes, deserted beaches, surfing, ATV tours, and more! We are 5 minutes away from a small town with restaurants, banks, and grocery stores, yet you feel far away from it all in our private river sanctuary surrounded by primary forest. We can arrange an airport transfer or assist you to rent a car at the airport or here in Uvita. We are 1hr from Manuel Antonio.
