First time at the western house hotel and was very impressed. First impressions are important and the member of staff at reception was welcoming and super efficient..she sorted out dinner for us and went over and above to ensure a great stay. Room was spacious and clean. Huge bathroom! Breakfast was amazing and fantastic value.. Would definitely recommend...

Very helpful staff, all round the hotel, from check-in to departure. Clean tidy room serviced daily. Breakfast buffet was very good - lot of choice. Dining rooms were very clean. Evening menu was decidedly 'lacking' something. Choicve was very limited & very fish biased. One evening meal disappointed me greatly. Not as described on the menu. However, on discussing it with reception, the matter was fully resolved. Overall, a good stay & I would return to the hotel, but hope that by then the menu might have changed
