Property is old and dated. Basic amenities (elevator, front door lock, WiFi TV, shower) didn’t work.
We had 3 major issues:
•First, the electronic door lock failed from the start. Our original entry code never worked. After entering, the lock would never “lock.” I called to get it fixed. I received a return call that it was now working. It wasn’t. Fortunately, nothing was stolen while we were out.
• Second, WiFi service went out on Thursday evening. I called to report it. Service returned on Saturday afternoon and was again out late Saturday night. The TV in unit B206 only works when WiFi is available (no way to watch live tv via antenna or otherwise). It was very frustrating to have no television for 3/4 of our trip.
- how can a rental unit not have its own WiFi and be dependent upon the building WiFi, especially when all the entertainment equipment requires WiFi service?
• elevator is not working. We had to carry our luggage, groceries, etc up 8 flights of stairs . And down again
A few other issues to mention:
• fireplace smoked out the condo. Instructions were followed but it continuously let smoke into the condo
• bath towels had stains on them and were obviously old. Just gross
• shower in the small bathroom doesn’t work.
• the blankets on the couch are awful and ancient.
• temperature knob for the oven was missing(found it in a kitchen drawer on day 3).
• overall, the condo is old and dated.
I would never stay here again nor recommend this condo to anyone. It embarrassing to offer this unit for rent given these issues.
