We had a lovely stay here. The water right outside the back was often in low tide when we went, so we got to dip our toes in the water and walk around in the shallow part every day. It’s rocky and a tad slippery on the red rocks so I recommend bringing water shoes there. I’d imagine it would be safe for kids to play at, too, with the right kind of supervision. The area is very quiet. Spotted seals, ospreys, crabs, and so on. There is also a room on the first floor for seniors who might not want to go up and down the stairs often, which was appreciated by one of our family members.
