I am very happy i stayed here. The hotel was very nice and the train station is a 5 minute walk and safe. Staff speaks english. I think the bar is open at all times except breakfast time. I think John(front desk, many arm tattoos) checked us in and helped us try and find our lost luggage. I want to personally thank him for all his help and a pleasant experience. I would recommend this place to anybody.

I had my "Do Not Disturb"! sign on my door and the cleaning lady opened my door the next morning without knocking while I was still in bed!!! I was shocked and very upset! The manager apologized and booked me into a different hotel. I did not feel safe! I could have dealt with there not being air conditioning and a bathroom window with no privacy covering that looked into the shower! The office building next door was all windows. My plan was to ask for a different room the next morning since all this was just after my first and only night at the hotel.

I've stayed at the IBIS here three times now, and was disappointed with the size of the bathrooms in our rooms. They were all about 1 meter by 2 meters. Terrible.

Good location

Good location from the train station. Decent size and clean room, shower is a bit small, but water pressure is great and soap is provided, clean towels, and a hair dryer. There is a bar downstairs with local beers on tap. And they have breakfast thts not included in the price. Staff is helpful. Buses and trams are in walking distance.

This hotel is very close in walking distance to the train station and to the main downtown square of Augsburg. It is a very nice hotel and everything was advertised correctly. The parking garage was only about a minute walk away from the hotel. I will gladly stay here again.
