So I waffled between a “good” and “excellent” rating as there was a water issue that caused us to spend the first night elsewhere, but the owner worked with us to find a solution. We were especially glad that it worked out for the other nights as it was just six houses away from the main family reunion location.The house itself was charming and had many special touches. It was very close to the lake too, and had nice yards and a sitting area. My sister in law, who has very high standards for vacation rentals, said that it was her favorite of the seven that we stayed in on our fall trip. I would stay there again and would recommend it to others.

Beautiful, safe and quiet neighborhood: tree lined cul de sac. Relaxed, modern updated home with relaxing lake theme decor. Loved the sun room, dining room table for games, and outdoor lighting when enjoying the fire pit table! Extremely comfortable beds and spacious bedrooms. Coffee area in the well appointed kitchen was really cute. Would enjoy the fireplace if it were cold weather! Very spacious throughout! Actually more space than the photos revealed. Katlyn was very quick to respond to a question about the bikes. We took them for a quick tour on the local streets. Close to local beaches - gorgeous sunsets at Walnut Beach, Geneva State Park Would definitely stay here again if in the area!! Thanks so much

We loved our stay at this cute and cozy home! The location is perfect and the house had more than enough space for our family of four. The home was clean and felt just like a lake cottage. We utilized the yard games and toys that are kept at the house and all of the outside areas, including a walking path across the street. We'll definitely be staying here again the next time we visit family in Ashtabula!

Clean, quiet and cozy

The house was very clean and cute. They have thought of everything you need and provided. There are even two coffee machines with coffee provided! We felt very at home there.The bed in the master was very comfortable.There was a nice outdooor area with a fire table and comfortable couch to sit on. It is in a very quiet neighborhood close to a really nice park for walking. My only complaint would be it is called a lake house but you can't even see the lake from inside the house. It is three houses away. Other than that I would recommend it. My husband kept saying this is so much better than being in a hotel room. After the cleaning fee and Vrbo's cut it was about the same price as a extended stay hotel.

Weekend Getaway

This was a lovely place to stay. The house was beautiful and the beds were comfy. Great location, close to wineries and restaurants. The host was very responsive to any problems we had (which were very minor) and was very gracious. We would definitely stay here again. It was a nice quiet place to relax.

Comfortable, inviting, and well-stocked

We came with our best old friends to celebrate our 40th anniversary and enjoyed a perfect view of a rare total solar eclipse from the well-manicured backyard. The home is comfortably furnished, clean, spacious and bright. All necessities were generously provided, and property manager was exceptionally responsive. Neighborhood is lovely and we really enjoyed our meals at Fitzgerald's Wine Bar. (Reservations are required as this is one of the few area restaurants open on Sunday and Monday.) Would highly recommend this property and would stay there again.

Beautiful, clean, well-stocked home

My family and I were extremely happy with our stay in this home. It’s so spacious, beautifully set up and decorated, and very well-stocked with everything you could possibly need. There were also some toys and games that our 3 kids enjoyed! The outdoor space is fantastic, especially the back patio with a cozy couch and fire. Nice quiet neighborhood, very close to the lake. The owners were kind, helpful, and so easy to communicate with. We would absolutely stay here again!
