Beautiful property & warm welcome

We had a lovely holiday in Alvarenga. Manuel and his family were warm and welcoming and we loved attempting to chat round the pool in French and Spanish! It's a beautiful area with green eucalyptus hills and the Geo park provided some interesting spots to visit. We didn't explore much because we got lost on the mountain roads on the way to Alvarenga at the beginning of the week but were very glad to stay put and enjoy the immediate locality, although we did make it to Arouca - pretty - & the fossil museum, where the children enjoyed cracking slate. Alvarenga has several restaurants where they serve the local delicacy, steak or cod, & a supermarket, all within walking distance. The house itself was large, well-equipped and clean and had good wifi. Many thanks to Manuel for your hospitality.

Como nos vinhos ... "Uma grande escolha".

Para alem de tudo o que se pudesse imaginar, surpreendeu-nos pela positiva. Extremamente cuidada, requinte de execução e preservação, a casa é por si só um motivo para permanecer o mais tempo possível. Os proprietários são de uma hospitalidade e simpatia extremas com quem não nos cansamos de conversar. Um paraíso numa terra simpática.

Um excelente fim de semana entre amigos

Éramos um grupo de 13 pessoas, amigos de longa data, que se reuniram para um fim de semana de boa diversão. Encontramos todas as comodidades que pretendíamos, piscina, jacuzzi, campo de futebol/tenis, espaço em casa para toda a gente e ainda muitas actividades radicais na zona. O facto de estarmos perto da zona onde podiamos realizar diversas atividades junto ao rio Paiva, canoeing, paintball, etc foi um ponto a favor da localização da habitação. Além disso as paisagens da região são fantásticas. Por último queria destacar a enorme simpatia e disponibilidade dos proprietários que nos deixaram completamente à vontade. Recomendo a todos e espero voltar um dia destes, sem dúvida :)

Fantástico e irrepreenssivel!!!

Espaço agradável, acolhedor, com todas as comodidades e conforto. É uma casa rustica mas moderna, com detalhes e arquitectura de muito bom gosto. Área exterior lindíssima e cuidada, com tudo o que é necessário, quer para relaxar, para fazer um belo churrasco, etc. Piscina e jacuzzi com vista de sonho :) Restaurantes (com take-away), cafés e supermercado são pertíssimo. Os proprietários primam pela simpatia e disponibilidade. Atenciosos e sempre prontos para divulgar e mostrar, o melhor, o mais belo e mais interessante da sua terra. Recomendo sem qualquer hesitação! A voltar um dia destes, sem dúvida :)

Fantástico

Éramos 8 adultos e 2 bebés e houve espaço para todos. A casa é grande, bem estimada e limpa. A piscina é extremamente agradável e fez delicias pelos miúdos e graúdos. A simpatia dos donos também é de ressalvar, bem como a restante família que tivemos o privilégio e gosto de conhecer. Os restaurantes, supermercado e cafés estão todos a 5 minutos a pé. Recomendo vivamente para uns dias de descanso e dolce fare niente!

Uma casa com um ambiente muito agradável e uma arquitectura única! Passamos um fim de semana bastante agradável, só foi pena não termos tido tempo para desfrutar de todas as comodidades que a casa proporciona :) A decoração da casa, e a lareira com o recuperador de calor foi uma surpresa bastante agradável. Os donos são pessoas muito simpáticas. Foram muito flexíveis com as condições da estadia e estiveram disponíveis para esclarecer qualquer dúvida. Uma estadia para repetir sem dúvida por isso recomenda-se, quem optar por esta casa vai sair satisfeito garantidamente.
