Lovely, quiet, character filled property.

This is a wonderfully renovated house with loads of character in a beautiful location in the Pyrenees. Lots of space, nice garden and pool. The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped, and in great shape. Everything was clean and Sophie was very welcoming and informative, and provided a welcome charcuterie platter for us! She was very friendly and helpful, and gave lots of great ideas for trips and activities. The house is in a quite secluded location, and is a bit tricky to find. The approach road is very narrow, and a bit scary to drive at first. We had some lovely trips through the mountains to various lovely villages, the Abbey St. Martin, and the Dali museum in Figueres. It was great to experience the Catalan vibe, and explore this lovely area.

Wunderschöner Traumurlaub in den französischen Pyrenäen!

Wir waren Ende August bis Anfang September in "Demeures des Deux Sources" und haben 2 wundervolle Wochen dort verbracht. Es war einer unserer schönsten und erholsamsten Urlaube - wenn es möglich wäre, würden wir 6 von 5 Sternen vergeben. Die liebevoll eingerichtete und saubere Unterkunft liegt auf einem großen, umzäunten Grundstück mitten in der Natur und verfügt über alles, was man für einen tollen Urlaub benötigt. Die Betten waren sehr gut und bequem, was in einer Ferienunterkunft nicht immer selbstverständlich ist. Wir haben jedenfalls immer gut geschlafen und konnten uns richtig gut erholen. In der ruhigen Nacht hört man von Weitem den Uhu und kann den dunklen, klaren Sternenhimmel genießen. Ein Highlight für die Kinder war natürlich der schön angelegte, große Pool, der sich direkt unterhalb der Terrasse befindet. Besonders erwähnenswert ist die sympathische und unkomplizierte Vermieterin Sophie, die nie aufdringlich, aber immer da war, wenn man etwas benötigt hat. Merci beaucoup, vielen Dank, liebe Sophie für deinen Kontakt und für die netten, wertvollen Gespräche mit dir - du hast uns dadurch einen ganz besonderen Urlaub bereitet und wir haben die Zeit bei euch wirklich sehr genossen! Danke für alles. 
 P.S.: Kleiner Tipp für alle Autofahrer: Es gibt zum Anwesen eine Zufahrt über eine Brücke, die extrem eng ist - wir haben ein etwas breiteres Auto und haben uns jedenfalls nicht darüber getraut. Durch einen kleinen Umweg (ca. 1km) erhält man jedoch eine völlig unkomplizierte Zufahrt zum Feriendomizil - einfach die Durchgangsstraße weiter fahren bis man links in Richtung "Figueres" abbiegen kann. Nach einer U-förmigen Kurve links in den Weg entlang des Waldrandes einbiegen und nach 200-300m sieht man schon die Tor-Einfahrt zu "Demeures des Deux Sources". Gute Fahrt!

 Der Stellplatz für das Auto befindet sich übrigens ebenfalls direkt auf dem Grundstück und die Zufahrt ist durch das große Tor gesichert.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, dans ce superbe gîte décoré avec soin, très propre avec sa belle piscine au calme dans un cadre idyllique . La qualité de l'hébergement est excellente !!! Un grand merci à notre gentille hôte Sophie, qui nous a accueillies chaleureusement et qui a su nous promulguer de nombreux conseils qui nous ont permis de découvrir cette magnifique région. Nous recommandons vivement y compris en arrière saison!

Location ideale pour une famille

La location est très agréable et conforme à la description. L'intérieur est bien meuble et agencé et l'extérieur est parfait avec le salon de jardin sur la terrasse, la vue sur la piscine et la végétation. Le terrain est très beau et grand. Les randonnées sont innombrables et Ceret avec son centre et ses animations ne sont pas loin ( moins d'une demi heure). C'est un très bon emplacement pour une famille souhaitant découvrir la région et rester de temps à autre dans le domaine.
