Whether you are seeking sun and fun, or peace and quiet, leave your car in our private parking because our cottage is centrally located around the very best that the island has to offer within a short walk or free trolley offered on the island.

Enjoy large open living during your stay! Our cottage includes two large bedrooms; each with queen beds w/ private closets, a complete kitchen, bathroom with tub/shower, expansive dining / living room, sun room, and outdoor space w/ table and chairs. Sleep comfortably as each bedroom has independent heat / cooling and ceiling fans, several pillows, and super-soft mattresses. We take pride in our cleanliness! Our cleaning team is meticulous with maintaining our cleaning and sanitization standards. See all the wonderful amenities that are included below!

Looking for convenience and plenty of things to do? A 4.4-Star bar / restaurant is next door, Pine Avenue shops are a short walk away, and activities like parasailing, horseback riding, sunset sailing, jet skiing, and more are nearby. Did you know that we are one of the original families on the island? That means we know all the best places to go, hidden gems for fantastic experiences, mouth-watering food to eat, and we have long term relationships with other local vendors that will help you create memories to last a lifetime!

Prefer peace and quiet? Enjoy morning strolls on the nearly empty beach, moonlight walks near the water’s edge, or a relaxing read with your book of choice in the provided beach chairs w/ umbrella that are included with your booking. There are plenty of quaint eating spots, free nature areas, and two easy-walk piers to enjoy the breathtaking views of the island while spotting dolphins and other marine life. If you don’t feel like going out and about, you can open the cottage windows and enjoy a gentle gulf breeze while you relax with a cold lemonade in the front ‘florida room’ - a large, beautiful, sun filled room with comfortable rocking chairs.

Need to get a little work done while you are here? We’ve gotcha covered! Strong wifi is provided with several places to get your work done and get you back to relaxing! We are located on a quiet side-street; so you don’t have to worry about distractions while making phone calls or sitting on internet meetings.

This Host provides fishing charters at an additional charge. Come aboard our commercial fishing boat where all gear is provided including rod, reel, net, life vest, bait, and other equipment. Fish alongside Captain Anthony who has been fishing these waters for almost half a century! Fish for tuna, snook, red snapper, grouper, and more! He and his crew can also help to clean and prepare your catch! Ask how you can book a charter in addition to your stay.

Sunset Cottage is an amazing value for the space, amenities, location, and ‘extras’ that are included to help you to enjoy all that Anna Maria Island has to offer. Minimum age to rent is 25 years old. Additional guests can be any age. Whereas your booking allows up to 4 people to stay in our cottage, we can accommodate a total of up to 5 people before reaching maximum capacity (one person would have to sleep on the couch). Additional members of your party MUST be disclosed at the time of booking, and will incur an additional surcharge of $100 per night per person. Whereas the standard cleaning & sanitization fee is only $100.00, depending on the number of people in your party, an increased cleaning fee may apply. (let's discuss)
