Welcome to La Charmentaise!

15 minutes from La Rochelle, Ile de Ré or Marais Poitevin, the Charmentaise welcomes you all year round.
This privileged location will allow you to radiate between land and sea in one of the sunniest regions of France, between Charente maritime (17), Vendée (85) and Deux Sèvres (79) and Charente (16).
Our house offers 4 guest rooms furnished in real Charentaise stone from the 19th century, in a landscaped garden with swimming pool.
Welcome, whether you come alone, as a couple, with friends, or as a family, we have the room that suits you.
All our rooms have exposed stone walls, an entrance and private bathrooms.
One of our rooms can also accommodate people with disabilities or reduced mobility.

Für unsere Zwischenübernachtung hatten wir uns für das B&B von Sabine entschieden und es war die richtige Entscheidung. Ein sauberes, großes und gemütlich eingerichtetes Zimmer und eine Abstellmöglichkeit für unsere Fahrräder haben uns gut schlafen lassen. Abends waren wir zum Sonnenuntergang in La Rochelle am Meer (ca. 15 min. Fahrt), das war atemberaubend. Die Kommunikation mit Sabine war jederzeit unkompliziert und sie ist super nett. Eine große Empfehlung! Wer in der Nähe von La Rochelle eine Unterkunft sucht ist bei Sabine gut aufgehoben.

Lovely place and a great host

We had planned a stopover at Andilly on our way to Spain. Unfortunately we arrived very kate, but we enjoyed a good night’s sleep and a wonddrful relaxing morning in Sabine’s garden.

Maison charmante décorée avec soins notre chambre tout juste magnifique a l'image des propriétaires Sabine et Philippe avec qui nous avons partager d'agréables moments de dialogues , le cadre est reposant c'est un havre de paix , la nature et le calme de l'endroit nous permet vraiment de nous détendre , la piscine complète ce tableau déjà superbe les petites tables en fer forgé sur la terrasse (très agréable pour un apéritif dinatoire en amoureux ) . Que dire du petit déjeuner tout juste royal copieux et gourmant du fait maison .Les conseils de Philippe pour nos visites et les bonnes adresses pour trouver un pti restaurant atypique sont toujours les bienvenus , Sabine le sens du relationnel toujours la pour vous , un grand merci a vous deux le séjour était beau grâce a vous il est devenu magnifique , nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir , Roselyne et Jérôme

Formidable séjour

Nous avons passé un formidable séjour en Charente-Maritime et La Charmentaise de Sabine et Philippe y est pour beaucoup. L'endroit est paisible, typique et plein de charme. Sabine et Philippe offre un accueil chaleureux. Ce sont des gens passionnés par leur métier et cela se ressent. Le cadre est magnifique, invite à la détente et la piscine est très appréciable lors des chaudes journées. La petite cuisine commune s'est trouvée être très pratique. Cela évite en effet d'avoir à sortir obligatoirement à l'extérieur pour les repas. Son utilisation se fait en bonne intelligence entre les occupants. La propreté des lieux, aussi la chambre, la salle de bain, que la cuisine commune est irréprochable ! Géographiquement très bien située entre Le Marais Poitevin, l'île de Ré, la Rochelle ... Il est très facile d'aller d'un point touristique à un autre. Après une nuit reposante et un petit déjeuner copieux et néanmoins excellent avec de nombreux produits faits maison, Sabine ne manquera pas de bons conseils pour vous aiguiller pour votre journée. En résumé, la Charmentaise porte bien son nom ! Nous ne pouvons que recommander la Charmentaise de Sabine et Philippe et nous songeons déjà à y retourner.

Super accueil dans un magnifique endroit, à recommander

Un merveilleux moment dans cette belle chambre d’hôte, un accueil chaleureux, beaucoup de conseils pour les visites donnés par Sabine, le petit déjeuner est copieux servi chaque jour avec de nouvelles confitures et un gâteau délicieux. La chambre est très propre, le coin cuisine très pratique, la piscine est top, quant à Sabine elle est toujours à l'écoute, et toujours là pour donner de bons conseils, un endroit à recommander au plus grand nombre.
