Amstel riverside Apartment

Beautiful 19th century Dutch Canal house on the Amstel river. It's a 200 m2 loft like 3 bedroom apartment. The absolute best view in Amsterdam, an amazing 360 degree of the city and boats passing by the river.

It's a large 200m2 historic maisonette apartment with 360 degree view of Amsterdam situated on the Amstel river in the hip and foodie heaven neighborhood of de Pijp.

The main floor (on the second floor, 120 m2 in total) has a guestroom with sofa bed and bathroom with shower. The bed is a very comfortable Ikea Ecktorp sofa bed. Also on the main floor is a large 50m2 living room, dining room, and large eat in kitchen,

The 60m2 top floor has 2 bedrooms with a very large en-suite bathroom with view over the Amstel river.

Best for a family or couples traveling together: I don't accept groups under 25 years old.

-We do have typical steep narrow Dutch stairs you find in historic old home. Not for guests with mobility issues.

Character property, ideal location

We were traveling as a family with two of our young adult children. We love staying in properties that offer local character, and this property delivers. Located across from a canal, it has extensive views of all the comings and goings on the canal. Beautiful! Please heed the owner's warning about the steep stairs. If you have mobility challenges in any way, this property is not for you. Having said that, my husband has a bum knee, and he was able to manage. Interior stairway offers child safety gates on the upper levels (two main levels plus a rooftop deck). The location is perfect, offering nearby grocery stores, restaurants and shops. Within walking distance of the City Center. Inside the kitchen is full of charm and fully stocked, perfect for a family sit down. Our kids enjoyed their own bedrooms while we enjoyed relaxing in the large living room fronting the canal views. Great property! It was as much a part of our visit as was Amsterdam itself, the two complimenting our travel experience.

Als wir eine Gruppe von 5 Leuten in der Unterkunft angekommen sind, waren wir erstmals sehr erschrocken, wie dreckig, unsauber und modrig das Apartment war. Es entspricht nicht der Beschreibung bzw. Den Bildern wie abgebildet. Für diesen Preis eine Riesen große Frechheit. Nach Kontakt mit der Vermieterin, wurden wir nur an die Agentur überwiesen, jedoch ohne weiteren Erfolg. Bilder von der Unterkunft haben wir gemacht. Wir haben uns am Anreisetag eine neue Unterkunft suchen müssen, da dieses Apartment nicht zu bewohnen war.
