The World's most Beautiful Beaches" are just an hour away in Panama City, making this home a true haven for nature lovers, fish enthusiasts and beach bums alike. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, family vacay or fishing trip, this peaceful cabin has it all.
The space
The scenic Chipola River flows nearly 100 miles through northwest Florida with limestone shoals, sand beaches and rapids. Sixty-three freshwater springs nourish it. Chipola River Outfitters has daily rentals of all kinds! There is also a neighborhood boat ramp (Lamb Eddy landing) just a 15 minute car ride up the road for tubing and paddling.
This riverside retreat is a unique oasis! Sip coffee on the balcony while enjoying the soothing sounds of the river and the beautiful sights of nature. Build backyard fires under the moon and starlit sky or rinse off in the private outdoor shower.
Recently remodeled, the main house features a downstairs master bedroom with king bed and master bath with soaker tub. Upstairs is another master with Queen bed and the third bedroom has a king bed and balcony overlooking the river. There are two full bathrooms plus a half bath in the main house.
The living room and kitchen feature expansive windows, allowing you to indulge in the captivating sights of the Chipola River day and night.
For an even closer connection to nature, head over to the guest house suite with a third King bed, half bath and cool outdoor shower. The upstairs bedroom has its own private deck, where you can relax and enjoy the river's beauty. The downstairs area of the guest house features a large kitchen area.
Other things to note
This home is directly on the bank of a deep river, and may not be suitable for small children or pets as the bank has a steep drop off with no rail. Walk down to the dock and swim at your own risk. No lifeguard on duty, and no handrail on one side of the dock.

This property is absolutely gorgeous…I recommend to book this property through Vrbo…in fact, my family are discussing renting this property again this upcoming Spring or Summer. The host was very easy to work with and talk to. Landon was very quick with responses and answers…Thank you again Landon for allowing my family to stay here during this very happy time for me. Peaceful Riverside Retreat
We fully enjoyed our stay at the retreat. This is a very special place if you just want to get away for a few days or longer to enjoy sitting on a dock doing some fishing and enjoying the surrounding nature.

Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Lovely kitchen and the beds were very comfy. We enjoyed the deck and being able to dock the boat. Great house for tubing the river. We took a lily pad and tied it off at the dock to cool off.
