Clean, new, great little property in Algona. They are VERY strict on their "pool is for guests only" policy which changed a lot of our plans for the weekend. I think if you are going to be that strict, it would be better to make that well known prior to checkin. We were planning to have my 1 to nephew and his mom come swim for a bit and it really altered our weekend. Had I known that I would have found a less expensive hotel to sleep in.

Stay was ok

Never travelled with a dog before and was reprimanded for not reminding them that I had a dog. I was in and out with the dog and was not trying to hide it. Didnt realize there was a 25 fee per night the dog was there and an additional 25 for cleaning. The bed and pillows were quite uncomfortable. Also did not know you had to request your room to be serviced so we had to get fresh towels. Hotel was clean. Pool and hot tub were very clean and taken care of.

This is a nice new facility in the Algona area. Friendly check-in, even though we were late. My only complaint is the walls are paper thin. At 7:15 this morning the people on the next room began talking. This was in a normal conversational tone, nothing being shouted. It sounded lke they were in the room with us. It made me wonder what it sounded like when we were watching the end of the Houston-Duke game at 11.

Nice place, not nice staff

The stay was fine, the staff were crabby and micro managing. Clearly taking previous issues out on new customers, very bitter and condescending when giving instructions or answering questions. One gal was helpful and smiled, the rest need a vacation maybe? I’ve stayed here twice in the past and always had helpful, pleasant staff, maybe new staff since then? It was unnecessary to be so rude.
