Lovely little spot in Albany!!!

Love this apartment! David is a great host, quiet spot that made me and my husband (and dog Hadley) feel very comfortable. Easy to get around the city from here, and super quiet. We will be staying here for a while and can’t thank David for his hospitality

Doesn’t feel safe

We pulled in to the carport behind the house upon pulling up we could see how bad the surrounding houses looked. Which left my wife feeling on edge and not safe. We decided to go ahead and check out the inside of the house. To our surprise the inside of the house was pretty nice. However, the main entrance door only stays shut with the deadbolt locked and even then you can still see into the house. We were inside for about 10 minutes before we left to go pick up our marathon race packets. Upon returning we decided that we could not stay here and feel safe and relaxed. The location it self was making my wife’s anxiety go through the roof. We messaged the host that night and let him know we would not be staying there. We were not able to get a refund or credit. However, the host was great with communication and always responded in a timely manner. Pictures of the outside of the house really need to be included on the listing so you can what you are getting yourself into. If we had seen those pictures we would never have booked this house. I do not recommend staying here.
