Alpenrose Hotel

The Alpenrose was a delightful hotel that was situated in a beautiful village. The scenery was stunning. The hotel was a little dated in the bedrooms but the beds were comfortable and the views were spectacular. Will definitely be returning.

It's located in a quiet residential part of town. It's rustic and without frills if you're looking for somewhere to lay your head. The hotel receptionist was super friendly! Although I didn't have breakfast, there was a nice assortment of breakfast items that, in my opinion, were sufficient for most people. As well, I think there was a dinner menu. I didn't notice any entertainment places nearby, but it looks like a soccer field is being constructed next to the property, and this might be a plus for the guests when looking for something to do on game nights. A big negative for me is that there are no food stores or supermarkets anywhere nearby. This place is in a really rural residential area. There's a bus stop, but it does not run on a convenient schedule. The hot water in my room took a couple of minutes to heat up. I think the price was ok, but I think it could be less. Otherwise, I'd still choose it again because it is close to the company where my clients work, Knorr Bremse.

Preis Leistung war gut. Die Unterkunft hat gut ihren Zweck erfüllt. Geräumiges Zimmer mit bequemem Bett und großem Balkon. Und ich würde wieder dort buchen. Gefrühstückt hatte ich nicht, da für mich der Preis von 12€ dafür überzogen war.

Das Hotel hatte coronabedingt geschlossen. Mir wurde weder über Expedia noch durch das Hotel diesbezüglich eine Nachricht zugestellt - ich habe es erst erfahren, als ich am Hoteleingang den Zettel gelesen habe. Das ist äußerst unangenehm, wenn man nach einem langen Außendienst-Tag durchgefroren und unerwartet ohne Bett da steht - obendrein in den Faschingsferien, in denen viele andere Unterkünfte geschlossen haben. Gibt es denn nicht eine Möglichkeit, solche unverschuldeten Schließungen dem Hotelgast unkompliziert mitzuteilen?

Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits in ruhiger Lage. Die Zimmer sind ansprechend, sehr sauber und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Der Chef machte es möglich, dass wir trotz Auslastung auch auf der Rücktour dort übernachten konnten. Vielen Dank. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Schöne Unterkunft, nur der Eingang unpraktisch

Schönes großes Zimmer mit viel Schrank- und Abstellraum, etwas knarzigem Bett und ordentlichem Bad. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit viel frischem Obst, Gemüse, Ei und Würstchen, offener Wurst und Käse, Brötchen und Gebäck etc. Wunderbar ruhige Lage, in Nachbarzimmer waren jedoch Dusche und Klappern etc zu hören. Etwas störend fand ich, dass die Terrassentür der Eingang war, davor Kiesweg und Rasen. Man hat daher unweigerlich Steinchen und Dreck sofort mit auf den Teppich (!) gebracht oder musste die Schuhe im Freien lassen. Außerdem hatten Terrassentür und Fenster keinen Vorhang, nur Rolladen. Will man sich vor Blicken schützen, muss man den Rolladen runter machen. Will man aber dann nochmal raus, muss man den Rolladen hoch machen, um zur Tür raus zu kommen. Und wenn man das Zimmer verlässt, kann man den Rolladen natürlich nicht von außen schließen, kein Vorhang da, also kann jeder sehen, dass es leer ist und was darin rumsteht.
