Loch Side Croft Cottage y jardín tradicional con extensión contemporánea

Dalilea Croft está situada en el lado noroeste de Loch Shiel, en un área conocida como Moidart en las tierras altas occidentales de Escocia. Fort William está a 30 millas al este y la cabaña está a aproximadamente siete millas de Acharacle, que tiene una buena tienda general, oficina de correos, salón de té, panadería y pub. Hay varios buenos restaurantes en la zona. El alquiler de embarcaciones en Loch Shiel está disponible y generalmente se puede organizar la pesca. La cabaña tradicional de una sola planta está integrada con una extensión diseñada por el arquitecto con elevación de vidrio, que ofrece vistas espectaculares del lago y está rodeada por su propio jardín establecido que está bien cercado y limitado al sur por una pequeña quemadura. El jardín está completamente aislado, no se ve ninguna otra casa, con Ben Resipol al sur y Loch Shiel, un corto paseo por un campo, al oeste. Cuando el agua en el lago de agua dulce es baja, una playa de arena es un lugar ideal para hacer un picnic.

Very peaceful location

If you want to get away from it all this is the perfect place. It's a very comfortable and well equipped cottage. The loch is a 5min walk away across a field. During our stay we saw eagles, deer and a pine Martin from the garden. One thing to note is that during our stay the WiFi didn't work at all but there was a 4g signal. note is that there was no wifi

Very peaceful location to chill lamb's and calf's great time off year to enjoy these little one's as your neighbours lot's to do on your doorstep in Moidart singing sands beach is a must stunning pristine beach cosy comfy cottage with everything you need the summer room is a delightful space great for watching the bat's at dusk or just sitting enjoying the sun on the decking lovely sheltered spot love this cottage was our second visit and looking forward to returning

Our October break

A great time in this lovely warm Highlands croft. Having 2 log burners and other heating meant that we could always be warm and cosy. Very comfortable and spacious.

Outstanding property and location

Peaceful and quiet location for winding down and relaxing in a beautiful clean, cosy, comfortable cottage. We we're blessed with sunshine for the week to enjoy the stunning view's from the croft and plenty to do in the Moidart area, boat hire available at the farm just down the bottom of the road to enjoy a day on Loch Shiel this is a much loved and looked after property by the owner, we wouldn't hesitate to come back again, thanks for a wonderful holiday 😊❤️

herrlich einsam, liebevoll eingerichtet

... sonnige Tage, so brauchten wir die Heizkörper und Kamine kaum. Zwei gute Bäder, liebevoll möbliertes Esszimmer und Wintergarten. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, der Wintergarten ein herrliches Plätzchen mit Seeblick. Der See ist über eine tlw feuchte Wiese erreichbar, baden ust möglich, aber Strand wäre zu viel gesagt.

Very nice property. Directions could have included some mileage from landmarks. Looking for a road sign at dusk on a long road was more challenging than need be. Transporting all linens from the U.S. was something of a chore.

Peaceful week

A great place to get away and have a peaceful week. The Croft had everything we needed, was clean, cosy and made a great base for exploring the area. Good walks and plenty of wildlife to be spotted.

What can I say we love this place. Lots of lush beaches and walks. The loch at the bottom of the garden for a swim or paddle board is fab. Weather not a friend this time be but always interesting🤣sunshine and torrential rain. The only thing you need to bring is a hairdryer and extension to reach a mirror. Lots of deers about this time of year too❤️

Perfect hideaway

Beautifully located and very well equipped and is obviously a much loved family holiday home. Due to drainage work and disruption to parts of the garden, Steven very generously gave us a discount. There are good local facilities within a few miles so a car is an absolute must. Stunning scenery was only slightly marred by some very wet weather and all the local people we met were friendly and very helpful. A great week!

Summer holiday week at Dalilea Croft

We had a great time in this lovely house and garden in a beautiful location, with walks from the cottage along the loch and into the hills. Drivable to amazing beaches. Good size kitchen with everything you need, and great quality shower. Very nice to have two different living spaces, both with woodburning stoves, and one with large windows facing onto the garden towards the loch. We saw buzzards, bats, and a pine marten from the garden. Steven responded very quickly to address a temporary problem with the house when raised.

Gemütliche Unterkunft mit Blick ins Grüne

Nach 2 Wochen Abenteuer durch die schottische Wildnis haben wir uns bewusst für die Unterkunft entschieden. Absolut ruhige Lage. Nur die tierische Nachbarschaft war manchmal laut ;-) Die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer ist schnell und unkompliziert. Zum Großeinkauf am besten nach Fort William. Dort gibt es Aldi und weitere Lebensmittelläden. Wir haben haben die Zeit sehr genossen.

Ruhe und Erholung in schöner Landschaft

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche in diesem schönem Haus. Die Umgebung ist schön und sehr einsam. Wir konnten baden und uns auf dem Grundstück erholen. Einkauf und Tanken sollte man immer gut planen, da der nächste Supermarkt und Tankstelle weiter entfernt liegen.

Great

We had a great time here, weather not too bad at all for a good few days. Easy distance to some sightseeing destinations (Sanna bay,lighthouse, Tioram(?) castle). Even up to Traigh to play golf and glenfinnan to see the train. House well enough equipped (a microwave would be a huge plus point though). Internet a bit on & off at times, but we knew that beforehand, so not a complaint. Large garden, enclosed, perfect for the dog - try as she did, but she didn't find a weak spot to escape! All in all, we very much enjoyed it and would recommend. Thanks

Wonderful extended Croft in Stunning Area

Utterly peaceful stay in perfect surroundings. Abundance of wildlife, white sand beaches, mountain ranges and lochs very close by. The Croft has everything needed for a comfortable stay - the summer room being the icing on the cake. Intermittent Wi-Fi not a problem for me… the blissful escape I expect from the western highlands! Will definitely revisit.
