Extremely Disappointing Stay – Would Never Return My experience at Oak Plaza Hotel, Accra was shockingly bad from start to finish. In my personal opinion, the hotel completely fails to meet even basic standards of professionalism, honesty, and customer care. The behaviour of some staff during my stay left me feeling deeply uncomfortable and unsafe. I had belongings go missing, and instead of receiving support or accountability, I was met with denial and dismissiveness. While I cannot speak for every staff member, my experience created the strong impression that the environment is far from trustworthy. Management was even worse. They were uncooperative, uninterested, and appeared completely unwilling to help resolve any issues. Instead of taking my concerns seriously, they acted as if I was inconveniencing them. At no point did I feel supported, respected, or valued as a guest. For a hotel that markets itself as a reputable establishment, the lack of integrity, security, and professionalism is truly unacceptable. I would strongly advise future travellers to think twice before booking, as my stay was one of the worst I have experienced anywhere. I left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and determined never to return.

The property was nice, but rooms are small and could need a little upgrade. Breakfast was very good with lots of options and staff were friendly. I would suggest providing washcloths and hand towels in the bathrooms for guests. We asked for washcloths, and they said they didn’t have one. The bathtub is really high, so if you have knee issues, could be a problem. Overall, nice stay and walkable to the Palace mall.

Hotel has been upgraded well over the recent years. Good location on Spintex Road. Breakfast served is very good. Bar menu is somewhat limited. Rooms, especially the Deluxe rooms are comfortable, well equipped, and stocked Every thing works.
