Amazing location in Aarhus and we booked for the sea view + spa, but the stay was unfortunately underwhelming. One day before arrival we were told the spa was closed due to repairs and we could cancel. With family + pregnancy and no good last-minute alternatives, we still checked in (stressful start). At check-in we were then told the restaurant was closed (except breakfast) and our family room was in the annex. Even after sharing our disappointment, we were told nothing could be done. The room was nice, but the view was to a parking area, and being in the annex meant extra hassle (and cold winter walks) to reach breakfast/spa. After contacting Hotels.com, we were offered a room in the main building — but with an additional fee. That change made a big difference and the experience improved a lot. Unfortunately, the same day the sauna went out of use for the rest of our stay. We also saw guests walking around the pool area in running shoes, and reception didn’t see it as a red flag until we insisted. This hotel has real potential, but right now it’s a “maybe stay” rather than a must.

Vi valgte udelukkende dette hotel fordi de havde pool. Desværre var poolen lukket da vi ville bruge den. Det fremgik ikke hvorfor og vi var ikke blevet informeret om det på forhånd, hverken på mail før ankomst eller ved indtjekning i receptionen. En rigtig dårlig oplevelse. Det gjorde vores besøg i Aarhus til en mindeværdig oplevelse på en dårlig måde for vores børn.

morgenmadesbuffeten var udmærket med mange gode ting. en del frugt, en dejlig kompot til yougurten og dejligt brøød samt glutenfri brød. Der var også æg, men her prøvede jeg deres røreæg og det smagte ikke for godt. jeg omtalte det for personalet og dagen efter var det lidt bedre men ikke helt godt. Måske manglede der salt, men det er svært at sige hvad det var. Desuden var det smulret som om det var lavet af pulver, hvilket persoalet nægtede. Vi synes det er uheldiigt med parkeringsforholdene. Der burde i det mindste være nogle fri pladser for hotellets gæster.

Morgenmadsmenuen var ret genial, men restaurantens udvalg om aftenen var ikke prangende (én mulighed pr. Ret i vegetarisk udgave). Selve hotellet er utroligt charmerende og ligger klods op ad vandet med dertilhørende smuk udsigt og en dejlig ro at vågne op til. Parkering koster ca. 100,- i døgnet oven i opholdets pris. Personalet er søde til at huske gæsterne på at huske det, da de har fået et eksternt selskab til at administrere pladsen. Kort sagt et charmerende hotel med fine værelser, fornuftig indendørs pool (håndklæder skal hentes i receptionen) og en god morgenbuffet!

Morgenmaden var lækker og alsidig. Inventaret på værelset var slidt, og på badeværelset var der hul op til loftet. Intet smart-tv. Værelset var rent ved ankomst, og på anden dagen bad vi om rengøring og nye håndklæder. Ingen af delene blev dog effektueret. "Spaafdelingen" består af en lille pool samt et dampbad der vil vores skuffelse ikke blev ordentligt varmt og en sauna. Vores møde med tjenere og receptionister var meget positivt, hvilket trækker hotellet op på 3 stjerner. Hotellet er så slidt, og bærer tydeligt præg af manglende vedligeholdelse, at det er en stor joke at sælge det som et 4-stjernet hotel.
