The home was clean, cozy, comfortable. The host was great very attentive to any questions or concerns. The host provided many little extras. I really appreciated the black out curtains in the bedroom. I am a late sleeper. It was very easy to hop on I-64 to get to the Huntington area or Ky. Would definitely stay again.

One of the best places I’ve stayed! The home was clean and cozy, we were left with snacks and anything we might need for the home: bathroom supplies, laundry detergent, thankfully body wash was one of the things provided because I forgot to bring mine! Everything was also labeled so that made it easy to know where everything was and what to use in the home. We had a great time and I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone wanting to visit the area!

Clean, comfy, well stocked place

We couldn’t have been more happy with this place. From the minute we walked in, we felt at home. Very clean in all areas. Great shower, very comfortable beds and living room furniture. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed! The host thought of everything to make our stay comfortable from the welcome basket to a “just in case you forgot something” basket. Hated the weather didn’t cooperate where we could enjoy the decks and fire pit. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

Almost Heaven Lodge

Honestly this could not have been a more accurate description of this hidden gem in the foothills of WV. Tucked into the outside of Huntington is this beautiful getaway that is convenient to every part of the tristate area, yet it is secluded enough to not be bothered by too much traffic. Host is very responsive, clean property, respectful neighbors, well stocked kitchen, movie library, etc.. you name it and it will be waiting for you. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip. Brennan you definitely the best host we have experienced. Do yourself a favor and have an adventure, go enjoy the local culture, experience what Huntington and the surrounding area is all about.

A buddy and myself typically come down and camp but decided we wanted beds this year. Found this nice house to stay in and only 15 minutes away from the lake we would be hjnting and fishing on. It was a perfect cozy house that we will try and book again!

Our stay at Almost Heaven lodge was great! The pictures are accurate and the house was super clean. Appreciated the large movie collection and the king sized bed was so comfortable! Definitely found our next place to stay when in the area!

Brennan, your host, provides everything you will need, except food, to have an enjoyable stay. This home is very cozy and clean. Located within a short distance to stores and restaurants. I highly recommend Ricky Top Pizza which is about 4 minutes away

It really was heavenly!

The house was immaculate with lots of seating room. Brennan was a FABULOUS host who went the extra mile with thoughtful touches such as an infant pack-n-play, toiletries (in case you forgot), detergents, paper products, coffee and pods, a “welcome“ snack basket and even doggie treats! Thanks!

Little piece of heaven

Brennan's property was absolutely perfect for our needs - to the point that I will be planning a family trip down here just so we can stay at his house again! My food truck served near by for 2 days, so we needed a spot for our employees to sleep, as well as a spot to plug into an external outlet. Brennan was gracious enough to have an extension cord waiting (I offered to pay additional for extra electric usage). The attention to details was wonderful - labels on everything to minimize any confusion on listed amenities, snacks & movies galore... it was perfect! Brennan was very communicative, left no stone unturned! Thank you SO much for your hospitality, sir!
